Casar de Palomero approves its forest fire plan

The Plenary of the City Council of Casar de Palomero definitively approved its Municipal Action Plan for Forest Fires (PAMIF), which received a favorable report from Civil Protection of Extremadura. The agreement is published in the BOP of Cáceres on August 26, 2026.

El Pleno del Ayuntamiento de Casar de Palomero aprobó definitivamente su Plan de Actuación Municipal ante Incendios Forestales (PAMIF), informado favorablemente por Protección Civil de Extremadura. El acuerdo se publica en el BOP de Cáceres del 26 de agosto de 2026.

Castilla y León prolonga la alerta por incendios forestales este viernes

La Junta de Castilla y León prolonga para el 14 de agosto la alerta por riesgo meteorológico de incendios forestales, con índice de peligro extremo a muy alto, y prohíbe el fuego y las barbacoas en toda la comunidad. Castilla y León extends the forest fire alert this Friday

The Junta de Castilla y León extends until August 14 the alert for meteorological risk of forest fires, with a danger index from extreme to very high, and prohibits fire and barbecues throughout the community.
