ISP ordena actualizar folletos de medicamentos con litio en Chile

El Instituto de Salud Pública de Chile instruyó a los titulares de registros sanitarios actualizar los folletos de información al profesional y al paciente de los fármacos con litio, tras alertas de seguridad de la AEMPS y la EMA. La medida se publicó en el Diario Oficial del 24 de agosto de 2026.

ISP orders update of lithium medication leaflets in Chile

The Public Health Institute of Chile instructed the holders of sanitary registrations to update the professional and patient information leaflets for lithium-based drugs, following safety alerts from the AEMPS and the EMA. The measure was published in the Official Gazette on August 24, 2026.
