Por FactBox Admin

The Department of Enterprise and Work of the Generalitat de Catalunya has arranged for the registration and publication of the collective agreement of the company YKK España, S.A. for the years 2025-2026, according to the resolution of October 26, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on November 6, 2026 (CVE 2026-10150). The text, signed by the negotiating parties on March 18, 2026, applies to the entire workforce of the company’s work center at the Baix Ebre Industrial Estate, in Campredó (Tortosa), and establishes the salary and labor conditions until December 31, 2026.
The resolution of the Territorial Services in the Terres de l’Ebre complies with articles 90.2 and 90.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, which approves the Revised Text of the Workers’ Statute Law, and Royal Decree 713/2010, regarding the registration and deposit of collective agreements, within the framework of Decree 392/2024 on the restructuring of the Department. The order provides for registration in the Registry of agreements, collective accords, and equality plans of the territorial services, publication in the provincial gazette, and notification to the negotiating commission. The document bears the agreement code 43003492012011 and occupies pages 1 to 39 of the BOPT, with a literal transcription of the signed text and the annexes of salary tables; the resolution appears signed in Tortosa on October 27, 2026, by the director of territorial services, Antonio Suárez Franquet.
Twenty-one months of retroactive effects
The agreement entered into force for all purposes from the date of signature, but the economic effects are retroactive to January 1, 2025, and the company commits to settling the salary differences within one month from the signing. The duration is two years, until December 31, 2026, with an annual tacit extension if there is no notice of termination, which would have to be formalized at least three months in advance before the labor authority and would open a maximum negotiation period of fifteen months.
The negotiating parties were the company management and the Works Council. On behalf of the company, José Costa, Joaquín Blanch, Carles Torné, and Celeste Albesa intervened; on behalf of the workers’ representation, Josep Chavarría, Antonio Espinós, Merche Guerrero, David Mauri, Bernabé Sanabra, Antonio Sánchez, Carme Ferré, Carles Beltran, and Marisa Salvadó. The text excludes senior management and high-level management positions at the center.
Increases of 3% and 0.4% plus the Catalan CPI
The agreed salary increase for the tables in annex 3 is 3% for 2025 and a fixed 0.4% plus the CPI of Catalonia, if positive, for 2026. The remaining economic supplements are updated with the same percentage each year. The main amounts for 2026 are:
- Night shift bonus: 4.25 euros per effective hour.
- Toxicity and noise bonus: 0.28 euros per hour in both cases.
- Day shift bonus: 1.72 euros per day worked; 7.16 euros per day for shifts of four or five rotations.
- Bonus per public holiday worked: 57.55 euros.
- Foreign per diem: 48.73 euros per day, with a supplement of 732.84 euros in the case of Japan.
- Meal allowance: 6.46 euros per meal; school and childcare allowance: 12.98 euros per month.
- Safety footwear: 18.47 euros in winter and 9.26 euros in summer, in the May and October payrolls.
Overtime is paid with a 75% surcharge on the ordinary hourly wage or compensated with rest at a rate of 1.75 hours per hour worked, at the worker’s choice. The text removes seniority increases and maintains consolidated amounts as an “ad personam” supplement, which increases with the base salary.
1,784-hour workday and 25 days of vacation
The annual effective workday is set at 1,784 hours for the entire workforce, with four defined shifts —from 6 to 14, from 14 to 22, from 22 to 6 hours, and a split shift— and daily breaks of 20 minutes, 30 minutes for the night shift. Internal flexibility allows the workday to be organized on a maximum of 10 Saturdays per year per person, with a minimum notice of seven days, and vacations are set at 25 working days, with a minimum of three consecutive weeks in the summer.
The text rules out general teleworking due to the industrial nature of the factory and only admits it in specific cases of reconciliation, to be assessed by the company. It also incorporates a protocol against sexual and gender-based harassment, the elimination of habitual overtime, and a collective insurance policy of 24,000 euros for death and permanent disability resulting from an accident, in addition to a joint committee of three members per party that resolves by unanimity, with a maximum term of fifteen business days.
Publication in the official bulletin makes opposable and enforceable an agreement that affects the entire workforce of the textile center in Campredó and arrives with retroactivity of nearly twenty-one months, such that workers must receive the earned salary differences since January 1, 2025. Furthermore, the company agreement prevails over any other functional or geographical agreement in the matters permitted by Article 84 of the Workers’ Statute, which reinforces its scope for the Tortosa factory.
