Pontevedra publica o calendario laboral de 2027 con doce festas xerais

The province of Pontevedra already has its 2027 labor calendar. The Territorial Department of Pontevedra of the Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration of the Xunta de Galicia published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, number 192, the list of paid and non-recoverable labor holidays that will govern the next fiscal year. The text is signed in Vigo by the territorial director.

Non-working days for administrative deadlines

According to article 30.7 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, the indicated holidays —both of regional and local character— shall be considered non-working days for the purposes of calculating administrative deadlines.

Furthermore, by virtue of article 34.6 of the Workers’ Statute, companies must display the labor calendar in a visible place at the workplace for the knowledge and consultation of the workers. Failure to comply with this obligation constitutes a labor infringement as defined in article 6.1 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2000, of August 4, by which the consolidated text of the Law on infractions and sanctions in the social order is approved.

Impact for workers and companies

The publication closes the labor planning for 2027 throughout the province and has a direct effect on workers, companies, and administrations. In addition to fixing the paid and non-recoverable rest days, it sets the administrative deadlines and information obligations in workplaces, making its consultation essential for organizing shifts, activity closures, and procedures throughout the coming year.
