Celsa Atlantic e sindicatos pactan en A Laracha subidas salariais ata 2028

The Territorial Department of A Coruña, under the Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration, has registered the collective agreement of Celsa Atlantic S.L. in the Registry of Labor Agreements and Collective Conventions of the Autonomous Community of Galicia and ordered its publication in the provincial bulletin. The text appears published in the Official Gazette of the Province of A Coruña number 206, dated October 28, 2026, in the Autonomous Administration section, with announcement number 2026/6919 and agreement code 15104581012022. The resolution was signed in A Coruña on October 21, 2026, by the territorial director, Juan José Couce Prego.

The registration request entered the autonomous registry on July 14, 2026. The department’s competence to resolve matters regarding agreements and equality plans is based on Decree 42/2024, Decree 49/2024, and Decree 147/2024, as well as Article 90 of the Workers’ Statute and Royal Decree 713/2010 on the registration and deposit of agreements. The text occupies 51 pages of the bulletin and is structured into thirteen chapters plus four annexes.

The application of the agreement is limited to the workplace located at Lugar Raxido number 7, Cabovilaño, 15145 A Laracha, and covers all personnel except for senior management positions. The validity runs from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, with an indefinite extension until renewal and a commitment to open negotiations for the following agreement four months before its expiration.

Increase of 1% plus the projected CPI each year

The economic chapter establishes three annual increases, applied in January of each year:

  • 2026: 1% plus 3% as projected CPI.
  • 2027: 1% plus 2.5% as projected CPI.
  • 2028: 1% plus 2.3% as projected CPI.

The revision clause establishes that if the actual CPI of the year exceeds the projection, the difference will be added to the increase of the following year, with an update to be made in January that will not generate arrears. Following the signature, arrears will be calculated from January 1, 2026, and paid in a single payment. The tables in Annex II set the monthly base salary of a senior-grade technician at 2,589.88 euros and that of a laborer at 1,738.64 euros, with an attendance bonus of 159.03 euros per month and an overtime hour of 27.39 euros on working days and 30.43 on holidays.

Working day, vacations and plant supplements

The maximum annual working day is 1,720 hours (215 days) for 2026, 2027, and 2028, while personnel on five and six-shift rotations will have 1,712 hours (214 days) in 2026 and 1,704 (213 days) in the following two years. Paid vacations are 24 days, with the possibility of splitting and preference between June 15 and September 15. The agreement also regulates a working conditions bonus of 12.73 euros per day in 2026, a guaranteed production payment of 137.90 euros per month, and a supplement of 306.44 euros for five and six-team shifts.

Six professional groups and fixed employment commitment

Annex I organizes the personnel into six professional groups and three functional divisions (technical, administrative, and production), with a description of tasks by level and categories ranging from senior technician to laborer. The company commits to developing new classification tables with the committee during the term of the agreement, which will be automatically applied upon its conclusion. Regarding hiring, the text sets a minimum of 90% permanent staff, excluding startups or capacity expansions, which have a two-year margin. Subcontracting requires prior consultation with the legal representation within a five-day period.

55,000 euro insurance, 100% IT and equality plan

Among the social improvements, a collective accident insurance stands out with 55,000 euros for death, absolute disability, and partial permanent disability, and the temporary disability (IT) supplement up to 100% of the regulatory base, including leaves for oncological causes. Personnel are entitled to an annual medical check-up during working hours, which must be carried out in the first nine months of the year. The Health and Safety Committee is parity-based, with three members from each side, and meets every three months. Annex IV contains the equality and anti-discrimination measures for LGBTI people, agreed upon by the negotiating commission on March 26, 2025, and ratified on June 5, 2025. For retirement, the enjoyment of two to five months of paid vacation is provided for according to seniority.

The registration closes a negotiation of more than a year and provides formal coverage for three fiscal years in a metallurgical plant in the region, with conditions that bind both own personnel and, regarding equality and harassment, contractors and personnel placed at their disposal. The text leaves the preparation of the new classification tables pending, which will be applied automatically when the term expires.
