Por FactBox Admin

The Xunta de Galicia registers and orders the publication of the collective agreement for the road passenger public transport sector of the province of Pontevedra, registered with the agreement code 36002145011991. The resolution was signed in Vigo on September 25, 2026, by the territorial director of Pontevedra of the Ministry of Employment, Trade and Emigration, José Antonio Rodríguez Fachado, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 193, of October 7, 2026. The text establishes the labor conditions for the entire sector for the 2025-2027 period.
The registration request was received by the Territorial Department of Pontevedra on July 24, 2026. The labor authority acts in application of article 90.3 of the Recast Text of the Workers’ Statute Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, and article 8.3 of Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, on the registration and deposit of collective labor agreements and accords. The competence of the territorial department derives from Decree 49/2024, of April 22, and Decree 147/2024, of May 20.
The resolution orders the deposit and registration in the Registry of agreements, collective labor accords and equality plans of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, and provides for its publication in the provincial gazette. An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against it before the general secretariat of Employment and Labor Relations within one month.
Validity and salary increases
The agreement has a duration of three years, from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027, and enters into force ten days after its signature. It is extended year by year unless denounced by any of the parties with three months’ notice.
The agreed increases are 3.4% for 2025, 3.4% for 2026, and 3.8% for 2027, applicable to all salary and non-salary concepts. Some examples from the attached tables for 2026:
- Service Manager: 1,892.33 euros monthly.
- Driving personnel: 40.87 euros daily.
- Route assistant (steward/ess): 1,120.29 euros monthly.
- Full Galicia per diem: 57.91 euros.
Extraordinary bonuses —July 25, Christmas, and March— are paid in 30 days and are calculated based on the salary table plus seniority.
Working day, breaks and supplements
The ordinary weekly working day is 40 effective hours, with an annual working day of 1,808 hours in 2026 and 1,800 hours in 2027. Vacations are 30 calendar days, which increase to 31 in case of splitting.
The text further regulates:
- Night work (22:00 to 6:00): 25% increase over the base salary.
- Driver-collector personnel: 20% supplement of the base salary per day.
- Hourly availability bonus: 5 euros per hour in excess of 12 daily working hours.
- Presence bonus: breaks longer than one hour outside the municipality, computed at 50%.
- Daily rest of 12 hours and weekly rest of 45 hours monthly average.
The new professional category of route assistant is also created, with a circulation bonus, and the right to digital disconnection outside the working day is regulated.
Subrogation, joint commission and security
The agreement mandates the subrogation of personnel in regular transport concessions that change operators, with a minimum of four months of seniority in the affected concession. The outgoing company must deliver to the incoming company the list of personnel, contracts, payrolls, and agreed conditions within five days following the award.
The Joint Commission —an organ for interpretation, arbitration, conciliation, and supervision— is composed of twelve members: six representing the workers (two per signing union) and six from the companies. Its address is set at FeSMC UGT Vigo, at rúa García Barbón 67. The parties adhere to the Galician Interprofessional Agreement (AGA) for the resolution of collective conflicts.
Regarding health and safety, a collective occupational accident insurance of 40,000 euros per person is established, a mandatory annual medical check-up for driving personnel, and the mandatory use of the anti-start breathalyzer when the vehicle has it installed.
Publication in the BOPPO gives legal validity and general effectiveness to the agreement, which becomes mandatory for all public road passenger transport companies with establishments in the province of Pontevedra. The text covers both regular and discretionary transport and includes station, workshop, and administration personnel, whereby the labor conditions for the entire sector are fixed until the end of 2027.
