Vilardevós approves the 2026 public employment offer with three positions

The Vilardevós City Council has approved its public employment offer (OEP) for the year 2026, which includes three positions for civil service and contractual staff, all via open competition. The decision was adopted by Mayoral Resolution no. 591, dated August 28, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on September 2, 2026.

The offer represents a direct employment opportunity for the residents of the municipality, as open-access positions are being called without the requirement for internal promotion. The resolution, signed by Mayor Tamara Balboa García, concludes the administrative process and opens the period for possible appeals.

The announced positions

The 2026 OEP is distributed between civil service personnel and contractual personnel, with one vacancy in each of the three categories:

• Administrative Assistant (General Administration Scale, group C, subgroup C1): 1 position, via open competition.
• Administrative Auxiliary (General Administration Scale, group C, subgroup C2): 1 position, via open competition.
• Brushcutter Driver (contractual staff): 1 position, via open competition.

Regulatory framework

The call complies with the provisions of Article 91 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the bases of the local regime, and Article 70 of the recast text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Legislative Royal Decree 5/2015, of October 30. These regulations establish the obligation to annually approve the public employment offer of local entities.

Appeals and deadlines

Against the resolution, which concludes the administrative process, interested parties may file:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office, within one month from the day following the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Ourense or, by choice, the one corresponding to the domicile, within two months, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.

Choosing the appeal for reversal prevents the filing of a contentious-administrative appeal until the former is expressly resolved or is dismissed by administrative silence.

The publication of this offer consolidates the Council’s commitment to renewing and strengthening its staff, in a rural municipality where access to stable public employment is a relevant way to fix the population and improve municipal services.
