Por FactBox Admin

The Valdepeñas City Council has approved the rules for the merit-based competition to fill the position of Head of Sports Facilities Group, identified by number 75 and assigned to the Ciudad de Valdepeñas Sports Complex. The call is approved by Mayoral Decree 2026-8246, dated October 8, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real (BOP) number 195, dated October 9, 2026, under announcement number 3270.
The call is framed within the principle of equal treatment between men and women as set forth in Article 14 of the Spanish Constitution and is developed in accordance with Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the Revised Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, Organic Law 3/2007, of March 22, and Law 12/2010, of November 18, on equality between women and men of Castilla-La Mancha.
The process is directed exclusively at the permanent contractual staff of the Valdepeñas City Council and is resolved by a merit competition, not by competitive examination. The position is listed in the municipal Job Position List (RPT) and its descriptive sheet is attached as Annex I of the announcement.

A job bank will be established in accordance with municipal regulations and Article 48 of Law 4/2011, of March 10, on the Public Employee of Castilla-La Mancha. Against the rules, which exhaust the administrative route, a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month before the Mayor’s Office, and a contentious-administrative appeal within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Ciudad Real.
The call for applications opens an internal promotion route for the permanent contractual staff of the Valdepeñas City Council and reinforces the coverage of a key position in the maintenance and organization of municipal sports facilities, with a scoring system that prioritizes seniority and the technical report over the theoretical test.
