The collective agreement of the Usoa Plant has fixed salaries and working conditions from 2024 to 2027

The Official Gazette of Bizkaia (BOB) has published today, September 18, 2026, in issue number 179, the new collective agreement for the workshop employees of the company Usoa Lantegia. The resolution signed by Verónica Fernández Fernández, the territorial representative for Labor and Social Security in Bizkaia, orders the registration, filing, and publication of the agreement for the 2024-2027 period. The agreement was signed on June 23, 2026, by the company’s representation and the social representation, and its official reference is BOB-2026a179-(III-142).

The resolution was signed in Bilbao on August 13, 2026, and corresponds to the agreement with code 48003842011992. The agreement covers the entire workforce of the company Taller Usoa Lantegia, S.A.U.M.P., with CIF A95228698, including workers from the special employment center. An appeal against the resolution may be filed within one month before the Director of Labor and Social Security.

Validity and negotiation calendar

The effects of the agreement will be applied from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027. The agreement will be automatically denounced as of October 1, 2027, and from that date forward, the signatories have committed to negotiating a new agreement. After the denunciation, it will remain in force until replaced by another.

Salaries and incentives

In 2024, a 2.5% increase in the basic salary was established over that of 2023, and in 2025, the basic salary for direct work was aligned with the SMI of that year. Specific salary tables for the years 2026 and 2027 are included. Other concepts:

  • Toxicity bonus: 37.19 euros in 2024, 38.27 euros in 2026, and 39.99 euros in 2027.
  • Outside work bonus: 39.96 euros in 2024 and 42.97 euros in 2027, in 14 payments.
  • Exceptional service: 275.83 euros in 2024 and 296.60 euros in 2027.
  • Special events bonus: 30 euros per event.
  • Mileage: 0.35 euros per kilometer.

In addition to fixed payments, there are two extra payments, summer and Christmas, each equivalent to 30 days.

Working hours, breaks, and holidays

The working day is 1,592 hours per year, and in continuous shifts of 6 hours or more, 20 minutes are counted as effective working time. At the end of the day, 15 minutes are added for cleaning and changing clothes. An intensive working schedule is established from June to September, and management may distribute up to 10% of the hours irregularly each year. Regarding holidays:

  • 27 valid days of vacation, with Saturdays counted as full valid days.
  • Guarantee of 15 consecutive natural days in summer, upon request.
  • A break of 2.5 hours for each hour worked at night or on holidays, and 1.75 hours on working days.

Employment stability and social benefits

The agreement promotes employment stability: a worker who has spent a maximum of three years at the Peón 2 level will be automatically promoted to the Peón 1 level, and similarly from Peón Especialista 2 to Peón Especialista 1. Additionally, the following social benefits are included:

  • 6,000 euros per year for social aid, maximum 300 euros per person.
  • 200 euros saved per year per family unit, for each dependent child.
  • 70% subsidy for the annual subscription to Barakaldo Kirolak facilities.
  • Accident insurance with coverage of 37,691.45 euros in 2025.
  • Dining hall: 50% of the menu cost, maximum 50 euros per month.

Equality and LGTBI protocol

The agreement incorporates the protocol to prevent harassment and discrimination against LGTBI people in accordance with Law 4/2023 and Royal Decree 1026/2024. Complaints are submitted through the Ethical Channel, and the procedure will last a maximum of three months, extendable by another three months in complex cases. The acknowledgment of receipt of the complaints will be sent within seven calendar days.

Finally, the agreement includes a commitment to promote the use of the Basque language, gradually and compatible with the needs of the organization, and increases the workplace committee’s hourly credit to 35 hours per month.
