Turismo anula dos agencias de viajes madrileñas por imposibilidad de ejercer

The General Directorate of Tourism and Hospitality of the Community of Madrid has declared the impossibility of exercising travel agency activities and the annulment in the Registry of Tourism Companies of Haerenga Exclusive Experiences, S. L. and Rig Travel. The resolution, signed on September 10, 2026, by the general director Laura Martínez Cerro, is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid (B.O.C.M.) no. 231, dated September 28, 2026, within the announcements of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport. According to the text itself, the announcement is disseminated “for reasons of public interest regarding both commercial traffic and the defense of consumers and users.”

The agreement is based on article 45.1 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which requires the publication in the official gazette of those administrative acts that affect an indeterminate number of people or whose individual notification is impracticable. The publication in the B.O.C.M. thus fulfills a dual function: providing formal evidence of the registry cancellation and warning the market and travelers that these companies can no longer operate as travel agencies.

The two affected companies

The resolution precisely identifies the two holders who have been deregistered:

  • Haerenga Exclusive Experiences, S. L. — NIF B44645968 — calle de Luis Martínez Feduchi, 78, 2.º B, Madrid — CICMA 4476.
  • Rig Travel — NIE Y5881541H — calle José del Hierro, 52, local 4, Madrid — CICMA 4716.

Both registry figures, the NIF/NIE and the CICMA number (the identification code for travel agencies of the Community of Madrid), are annulled in the Registry of Tourism Companies under the General Directorate of Tourism and Hospitality.

A series of resolutions throughout the summer

The decision regarding Haerenga Exclusive Experiences, S. L. and Rig Travel is not an isolated decision. In the preceding weeks, the same body has published equivalent resolutions against other operators:

  • Khalifaservice, S. L. (NIF B42963348, CICMA 4559), resolution of August 10, 2026, published in the B.O.C.M. on August 19.
  • Cuerda Viva, S. L. U. (NIF B70944335, CICMA 4657), resolution of August 12, 2026, published on August 21.
  • Furtado Gestiones y Servicios, S. L. (NIF B-16499485, CICMA 4664), resolution of September 7, 2026, published on September 17.

All of them share the same legal formula: impossibility of exercising travel agency activities and annulment in the Registry of Tourism Companies, invoking article 45.1 of Law 39/2015. The pattern confirms a sustained line of action by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport regarding the regional registry of agencies.

What this implies for those with a reservation

The deregistration does not, by itself, extinguish contractual obligations already entered into, but it does legally prevent these companies from continuing to act as intermediaries in the sale of trips. Consumers with open reservations, pending payments, or ongoing claims against either of the two firms must submit their requests in writing to the company and, if applicable, file a claim with the consumer services of the Community of Madrid, providing the contract, proof of payment, and the agency reference.

The official publication has an immediate practical effect: any traveler, collaborating agency, or provider can verify as of today that Haerenga Exclusive Experiences, S. L. and Rig Travel are no longer listed as authorized agencies. For the sector, the announcement closes the path of contracting with two operators that until now appeared as registered, and reinforces the utility of the Registry of Tourism Companies as a prior control tool before booking a trip.
