Tracción Rail firma su convenio de empresa con vigencia hasta 2029

The Official Gazette of the Province of Seville publishes this Thursday, in issue number 205 corresponding to October 22, 2026, the full text of the company collective agreement of Tracción Rail, S.A.U., the railway operator with a workplace in the Sevillian capital. The agreement is signed by the company’s Management and the Works Council, which make up the negotiating commission and recognize each other’s legitimacy in accordance with Article 87 of the Workers’ Statute. The document, consisting of 46 pages, appears in the Autonomous Administration section with the official reference BOP-SE-2026-205032.

Scope limited to Seville and validity until 2029

The agreement applies to the company’s sole workplace, located in Seville, and to the persons assigned to it and its various operational sites. The parties expressly state that no sectoral collective agreement applies to Tracción Rail, such that the text is configured as a unitary and indivisible whole.

Validity begins on the date of signing and extends until December 31, 2029, being extended for periods of one calendar year if there is no express notice of termination, which must be submitted before the final month of validity. Senior management, high government or board personnel, and those performing management functions who have individually agreed to their exclusion, are excluded from the scope of the agreement.

The text creates a Joint Commission for interpretation and monitoring, composed of three representatives from the company and three from the union section of the committee, with an obligation to resolve issues within 30 days. In case of disagreement, the parties may seek mediation through the Andalusian system for the extrajudicial resolution of conflicts (ASAC).

Working hours, vacations, and breaks

The general maximum working day is set at 1,736 annual hours, indicatively equivalent to an average of 40 hours per week, with ordinary service from Monday to Sunday. Overtime is limited to 80 hours per year per worker and is paid according to tables.

For driving personnel, the effective annual working days are set at 215 days in 2026 and 213 from 2027 onwards, with a daily shift of eight hours, extendable up to ten when waiting times or passenger times occur. Excess beyond the eighth hour is considered a high-dedication hour.

  • Vacations: minimum of 22 working days, comprising at least 30 calendar days.
  • Calendar: must be published before December 31 of each year, two months prior to enjoyment.
  • Rotating blocks: fortnights from June to September in summer, and periods of Christmas, January, October, November, February, March, March-April, and Holy Week in winter.
  • Irregular distribution: up to 15% of the working day, with a minimum notice of five days and compensation within a maximum period of twelve months.

Salary Tables and Variable Remuneration

The base salary is distributed in 14 payments, two of which are extraordinary payments in June and December. The approved gross annual amounts are as follows:

  • Management: 40,000 euros; Managers: 30,000; Technicians: 25,000.
  • Administration Manager: 25,000 euros; Administrative Staff: 22,000.
  • Group III (railway personnel): 24,000 euros for all categories, from infrastructure machinery operator to cabin assistant.
  • Chief Driver: 45,000 euros; Principal Driver B: 40,000; Driver B: 35,000; Entry-level Driver B: 30,000; Principal Driver A: 30,000; Driver A: 27,000; Trainee Driver: 25,000.

Supplements for groups III and IV include a night shift premium of 20% of the base hourly salary between 22:00 and 6:00, a half-day allowance of 35 euros, an overnight allowance of 50 euros, an on-call bonus of 31.50 euros, a holiday work bonus of 60 euros, and a rest-day work bonus of 100 euros. The dedication bonus is paid at 16 euros per hour for group III and between 15 and 22 euros for driving.

Additionally, a Variable Remuneration System is implemented, linked to common objectives of Grupo Azvi and individual goals, with a maximum bonus of 25% of the annual base salary for management, 20% for managers, and 10% for railway and driving personnel.

Salary Review and Social Benefits

The 2026 tables are applied without an increase; for 2027, an increase of 1% is agreed upon, and for 2028 and 2029, a review effective January 1st equivalent to the actual CPI of the previous year. The agreement guarantees a supplement of 100% of the fixed remuneration during temporary disability, a life insurance policy of 1.5 times the gross annual fixed remuneration, and insurance for the permanent loss of the driving license of up to 120,000 euros for principal drivers and chief drivers.

The text also regulates the probationary period (six months for technicians and three for the rest), a 15-day notice period, mileage of 0.26 euros per kilometer when using a private vehicle, standard three-star category accommodations, and a specific chapter on equality, domestic partnerships, and harassment prevention.

The agreement affects the entire workforce of the operator in the province and is established without a sectoral reference agreement, thus becoming the exclusively applicable labor regulation within the company. Its publication closes the negotiation between the company and the committee and establishes a stable framework of conditions until the end of the decade, with increases linked to the CPI in the last two years of validity.
