Trabajo publica el V convenio de oficinas de colegios profesionales de Murcia

The General Directorate of Labor of the Regional Ministry of Enterprise, Employment and Social Economy has registered and ordered the publication of the V Collective Agreement for Offices of Professional Associations of the Region of Murcia, which regulates the minimum working conditions for all personnel of these entities. The resolution, signed by the general director Juan Marín Pérez on October 16, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) number 244, dated October 22, 2026, with the official reference A-221026-5146.

The agreement is registered under file number 30/01/0150/2026 and agreement code 30003035012008, sectoral scope, and was signed by the negotiating commission on June 26, 2026. The resolution is based on Article 90 of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, and Royal Decree 713/2010 on the registration and deposit of agreements, at the proposal of the Labor Standards and Sanctions Service.

The negotiation took place between the Association of Professional Association Companies of the Region of Murcia (ECOPROMUR), representing the associations, and the unions UGT and CCOO, representing the workers. The text replaces the IV sector agreement, published in the BORM on May 25, 2023.

Four-year validity and 1,776-hour working day

The agreement enters into force on the day of its publication in the BORM and extends from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, with tacit renewal for annual periods unless formally denounced two months in advance. The denunciation of the agreement requires nine months’ notice; after one year without an agreement, the parties must submit to the mediation of the Foundation Extrajudicial Office for the Resolution of Labor Conflicts of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

The ordinary working day is set at 40 hours of effective work per week, with an annual total of 1,776 hours. Between June 1 and September 15, a continuous working day of 35 hours from Monday to Friday is established, adjusting for the rest of the year. December 24 and 31, as well as Maundy Thursday, shall be non-working days, and 22 business days of annual vacation are recognized, the calendar for which must be finalized before March 30.

Eight professional levels and 5.7% salary increase

The classification of personnel is organized into three groups and eight levels:

  • First group, Graduates: Technical Secretary General-Manager and University Graduate.
  • Second group, Administrative: Administrative Head, Administrative Official, Expert Administrative-Receptionist, and Administrative-Receptionist Assistant.
  • Third group, Miscellaneous Trades: Office Attendant and Cleaner.

The 2026 tables incorporate an increase of 5.7% over those of the previous year, effective from January 1, 2026, with the obligation to pay arrears with the payroll of the month following publication. The resulting annual salary ranges from 43,069.35 euros for the Technical Secretary General-Manager to 19,910.25 euros for the Cleaner, including 34,328.40 euros for the University Graduate, 29,824.80 for the Administrative Head, 25,849.95 for the Administrative Officer, 24,049.65 for the Expert Administrative-Receptionist, 22,249.35 for the Administrative Assistant-Receptionist, and 21,347.70 for the Office Attendant. For 2027, 2028, and 2029, the increase will be the accumulated CPI as of December of the previous year plus 1%.

Hiring, teleworking, and social security

Regarding hiring, the agreement allows temporary contracts to last one year within an eighteen-month period, and sets probationary periods of six months for technicians and graduates and three months for the rest. Administrative Assistants with five years in the category may access the Expert Administrative position through an evaluation test, and those who accumulate five years as an Expert Administrative will automatically be promoted to Administrative Officer.

The text regulates teleworking with compensations of 30 euros per month for utilities, 80 euros for own equipment, and up to 40 euros per month for other expenses, in addition to a collective accident policy with indemnities of 40,000 euros for death or permanent total disability, 25,200 for absolute permanent disability, and 12,600 for total permanent disability. A study grant of 315 euros per child and a bonus of one month’s salary upon 25 years of service are added.

Joint Commission and signatories

The Joint Mixed Commission, composed of two representatives from the social side and two from the business side plus a secretary of minutes, assumes the interpretation and monitoring of the agreement, with meetings convened within a maximum period of one month and decisions notified within seven days. The text adheres to the III Agreement on Extrajudicial Settlement of Labor Conflicts in the Region of Murcia (ASECMUR-III), published in BORM number 21, of January 27, 2021.

Signing for CCOO were Irene Muñoz Zamora, Isabel Cervantes Gómez, and Encarna Baños Salmerón; for UGT, Pedro Cánovas Cortés, José Antonio Llamas Cánaves, and Francisco Antonio Pujante Pujante as advisor; and for ECOPROMUR, Herminio Antonio Duarte Molina (Murcia Bar Association), Salvador Rincón Gallart (College of Industrial Technical Engineers), Pedro Luis Salazar Quereda (College of Opticians-Optometrists), Manuel Sánchez-Guerrero Melgarejo (College of Insurance Mediators), Álvaro Robles Leal (College of Social Graduates), Tomás Fernández Martínez (College of Physicians), and Ascensión Sánchez Asensio (College of Social Work).

The agreement also includes a protocol for action in the face of catastrophes and adverse meteorological phenomena, which is activated by orange or red warnings from the State Meteorological Agency and allows for the adaptation of schedules, the suspension of travel, the ordering of remote work, or the closure of the center.

The publication concludes the negotiation for a sector with small workforces dispersed throughout the Region, which until now was governed by the 2023 agreement. The 5.7% increase and the regularization of arrears since January affect all labor personnel of the professional associations, while the eight-level scale and automatic promotions based on seniority provide a stable career framework until 2029.
