The Territorial Delegation of Álava of the Department of Economy, Labor and Employment of the Basque Government has ordered the registration and publication of the collective agreement of Sonaca España Aerospace, SLU for its Miñano work center in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The resolution was signed by the territorial delegate Ibon López Aldaz in Vitoria-Gasteiz on July 30, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA) number 122, dated October 23, 2026, with the agreement code 01003492012009. The agreement binds the center’s workforce until December 31, 2029.
The legal framework of the registration
The labor authority acts under article 90.2 of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, and the competence attributed to it by article 18.2.g of Decree 323/2024, of November 5, regarding the organic structure of the Department of Economy, Labor and Employment. The resolution orders the registration in the Álava territorial section of the Registry of Agreements, Collective Labor Agreements and Equality Plans and provides for its publication in the BOTHA.
The text, consisting of 23 pages, was agreed upon by the works council of the Miñano center and the company’s representation, and is concluded in accordance with Title III of the Workers’ Statute. The published document bears the official reference 2026-02867. The operative part of the resolution cites ALESTIS AEROSPACE as the holder of the agreement, while the published conventional text corresponds to Sonaca España Aerospace, SLU, Vitoria-Gasteiz center.
Validity, working day and schedules
The agreement applies to all personnel at the center, including middle management and new hires, excluding members of the management team and heads of department. Its basic conditions are:
- Validity from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029, with automatic termination notice on September 30, 2029, and the establishment of the new negotiating table within a period of 3 months.

- 23 working days of annual vacation and remuneration in 14 monthly installments.
- Intensive summer working day from 7:00 to 15:00 from July 1 to August 31.
Salaries, bonuses and variable pay
The agreed salary review is anchored to the CPI of the Basque Country from the previous year: 2026 with the 2025 CPI, 2027 with the 2026 CPI, 2028 with the 2027 CPI, and 2029 with the 2028 CPI, counting negative CPIs as zero. The attached table sets, among others, the following annual amounts:
- Specialist: 23,482.43 euros; 1st Class Technician: 32,585.27 euros.
- Administrative Assistant: 20,938.80 euros; 1st Class Production Control: 29,778.30 euros.

The variable results bonus is linked to the annual EBITDA of the Miñano plant, with three tiers: a 250 euro bonus and 150 consolidatable upon reaching 90 percent of the objective; 500 and 300 euros at 100 percent; and 1,000 and 375 euros if the budget reference is exceeded by 5 percent. Additionally, a collective agreement signing payment of 500 gross euros and an exceptional advance payment of another 500 euros are paid, as the signing takes place in mid-2026.
Employment, permits and representation
Regarding hiring, the company favors permanent employment and limits the use of temporary employment agencies to non-structural work and a maximum of 5 percent of the center’s workforce, with salary equivalence relative to the agreement tables. Probationary periods are set at 3 months for graduates and technicians and 15 days for the rest.
The social chapter incorporates permits such as 18 calendar days for marriage or civil partnership, 6 working days for the death of a spouse or first-degree descendants, and a paid permit of up to 16 annual hours for medical consultations. A study grant of 13.83 euros per month per child and an allowance of 118.00 euros per month per child with functional diversity are added. For the non-application of the agreement due to economic, technical, organizational, or production reasons, the company commits not to act unilaterally and the parties submit to the PRECO.
The agreement arrives at a time of reorganization of the Alavese aeronautical sector, with the Miñano plant integrated into the Sonaca group. The four-year stability in validity and the linking of the variable bonus to the factory’s results provide the workforce with a predictable framework, while the labor authority reinforces the registration control of the published text.
