The General Directorate of Labor of the Regional Government of Extremadura has ordered the registration in the Registry of Collective Agreements and Labor Accords of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura and the publication of the Collective Labor Agreement of the company Alfonso Gallardo, SA, according to the resolution of October 5, 2026, disseminated in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (number 198, of October 14, 2026), with official reference 2026062556. The agreement was signed on February 12, 2026, by the company representation and by the Works Council as the legal representation of the workers, and is identified with the agreement code 06000782011993.
Regulatory framework and scope of application
The resolution is adopted under article 90, paragraphs 2 and 3, of the Workers’ Statute (Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23), Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, on the registration and deposit of agreements, and Decree 187/2018, of November 13, which creates the regional registry. The agreement of the General Directorate provides, in two points, for the registry registration and the full publication of the text in the official gazette. The resolution is signed in Mérida on October 5, 2026, by the Director General of Labor, Pilar Bueno Espada.
The scope of the agreement is exclusively company-wide and affects all workers on the payroll of Alfonso Gallardo, SA at its workplace in Jerez de los Caballeros (Badajoz). Its validity extends from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of termination by either party with one month’s notice prior to the end of that period.
Salary increases and remuneration structure
The text establishes fixed salary increases of 1% for 2025 and 2% for 2026, applicable to all salary concepts unless expressly excepted. To these is added a single, non-consolidatable payment equivalent to an additional 1.5% each year, conditioned on the fulfillment of two parameters:
- Achievement of the budgeted EBITDA for each financial year, the budget for which is delivered to the Works Council in January.
- Maximum individual absenteeism of 4% of the annual working day actually worked, excluding workplace accidents, occupational illness, vacations, union representation, and paid leave.
The lump-sum payment is paid with the September payroll and requires being registered with the company as of December 31 of the accrual year. The seniority supplement is set at 3% for each three-year period based on the collective agreement base salary, and three extraordinary payments are established—Profit Sharing, Summer, and Christmas—consisting of thirty days of base salary plus seniority, agreement bonus, personal supplement, and extraordinary payment supplement, fixed at 120.92 euros for 2025 and 123.34 euros for 2026. The extraordinary Christmas bonus amounts to 46.25 euros in 2025 and 47.18 euros in 2026.
Working day, bonuses, and working conditions
The annual working day is fixed at 1,760 hours of effective work, with an average of 40 hours per week on an annual basis from Monday to Friday, and vacations at 30 calendar days. The night work bonus, between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, is established at 2.53 euros per hour in 2025 and 2.58 euros in 2026. Overtime hours for Saturday shifts are paid at 22.66 euros per hour in 2025 and 23.11 euros in 2026, with a limit of 80 annual hours and 10 Saturday shifts per year per person.
Regarding social protection, the company will supplement up to 100% of the net salary in situations of temporary disability from the first day of leave and will take out an agreement insurance policy with indemnities of 25,000 euros for death, severe disability, or absolute permanent disability resulting from a workplace accident or professional illness, and 17,500 euros for total permanent disability. Additionally, an economic fund of 12,020.24 euros is created for interest-free loans granted by the Works Council, and a study fund endowed with 41,400 euros annually, with scholarships of 1,800 euros up to a maximum of 69 and book grants of 150 euros.
Control bodies and protocols
The agreement regulates a Joint Commission of four members—two for the company and two for the Works Council—responsible for the interpretation and monitoring of the text’s compliance, which must meet within seven business days following the request and resolve within a maximum of fifteen business days, always by unanimity. It also incorporates a protocol against harassment of LGBTI people and an action protocol for catastrophes and adverse meteorological phenomena, including preventive and emergency measures and coordination with external operational services.
Impact for the workforce
The agreement regulates the labor and economic conditions of the entire workforce of Alfonso Gallardo, SA in Jerez de los Caballeros for two years, featuring staggered increases, variable remuneration linked to results and absenteeism, and a catalog of leaves, social aid, and health and safety guarantees. Its publication in the Official Gazette of Extremadura grants general effectiveness and publicity to the agreed text, such that workers, union representation, and the company now have an enforceable official reference.
