Trabajo corrige el convenio de carpinterías y publica las tablas salariales

The Provincial Sub-directorate of Labor of Huesca, under the Department of Economy, Competitiveness and Employment of the Government of Aragon, has ordered the correction of the publication of the Provincial Collective Agreement for Carpentry, Cabinetmaking, Varnishing, Coachbuilding, Upholstery and Similar. The correction of errors is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 205, dated October 26, 2026, with the official reference BOPH-2026-205029, and occupies pages 123 to 126. The original text, approved by resolution on October 14, had appeared in bulletin number 199, dated October 16, 2026.

An incompletely published agreement

The resolution of the Sub-directorate, signed in Huesca on October 20, 2026, by the provincial sub-director Ana Maurel Garcés, invokes article 109 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, to correct the previous publication. The agreement consists of two points: correcting the text of the agreement and arranging for the publication of the correction in the provincial bulletin.

The agreement affects the entire wood and related sector of the province and carries the agreement code 22000225012002. Its validity spans from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, and it was submitted to the Provincial Sub-directorate of Labor on September 21, 2026.

According to the agreement itself, the publication of October 16 presented two deficiencies: the table of permits and licenses appeared incomplete and the salary tables for the years 2026 and 2027 were not included.

The permits table, now complete

The incorporated annex details the permits and licenses of the sector, with the maximum absence time and the concepts accrued in each case:

  • Death of parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, spouse, siblings, and parents-in-law: three working days, extendable to five if there is travel exceeding 150 kilometers.
  • Serious accident or illness, hospitalization, or surgical intervention requiring home rest for the spouse, domestic partner, or relatives up to the second degree: five working days.
  • Death of daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, siblings-in-law, and grandparents-in-law: two working days, extendable to four for travel exceeding 150 kilometers.
  • Marriage of the worker: fifteen calendar days.
  • Change of habitual residence: one working day.
  • Transfer under article 40 of the Workers’ Statute: three working days.
  • Marriage of a child, father, or mother: the calendar day.
  • Breastfeeding up to nine months: one hour of absence or two half-hour fractions, with the possibility of accumulation into 13 working days by agreement with the company.
  • Inexcusable public duty, renewal of the DNI (ID card), recovery of the driver’s license for reasons attributable to the company, and medical visits: the indispensable time.

The table specifies that all leaves shall be taken on consecutive or uninterrupted days and requires documentary or medical justification depending on the case.

Salaries: 3.5% increase in 2026 and 3% in 2027

The correction also incorporates the annexes with the salary tables for 2026 and 2027, the economic content of which already appeared in the articles of the agreement. Article 27 sets an increase of 3.5% for 2026 over the final 2025 tables, effective from January 1, 2026, and 3% for 2027 over the 2026 tables, effective from January 1, 2027.

The text also includes a review clause: if the accumulated CPI for 2026 and 2027 exceeds 6.5%, the difference will be applied only to the update of the tables, with a maximum cap of 1%. Companies must pay the differences for the period already elapsed in 2026 within the two months following the publication of the agreement in the bulletin.

The labor framework is completed with an annual workday of 1,752 hours of actual work for the two years of validity, 22 working days of vacation on a five-day schedule, and a 75% surcharge over the ordinary hour for overtime hours compensated financially.

Who signs and who is bound

The agreement was signed by the Regional Federation of Metal, Construction and Related Industries of UGT (FICA-UGT) and CCOO de Hábitat de Aragón on the social side, and by the Association of Wood Entrepreneurs of the Province of Huesca (ADEM) as the business representation. It binds all personnel in the carpentry, cabinetry, varnishing, bodywork, upholstery, and similar industries of the province of Huesca.

The correction comes after the initial text was published with 33 pages in the bulletin of October 16, without the economic annexes and with the leave table truncated.

Why it matters

The rectification closes the regulatory gap that left the sector without a published salary reference for 2026 and 2027 and without the details of its leaves, just as companies must apply the arrears for the current year. With the tables now in the bulletin, the staff and wood companies of the province have a complete and enforceable framework to negotiate payrolls, leaves, and working hours until the end of 2027.
