Por FactBox Admin

The Mancomunidad de Municipios Tajosalor has announced three teaching positions for the Lifelong Learning Programs for the 2026/2027 academic year: two for the foreign language program for Spanish speakers of English (P05) and one for Portuguese (P05). The guidelines are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0206, dated October 27, 2026, under the official reference BOP-2026-5024. The deadline to submit applications is only ten calendar days starting from the day following the full publication of the guidelines.
Temporary and part-time contracts linked to regional grants
The call is issued by virtue of the Resolution of June 12, 2026, from the Department of Education and Employment of the Junta de Extremadura, which approves the call for grants for the implementation of lifelong learning programs in the autonomous community during the 2026/2027 academic year. The hiring is labor-based, temporary, and part-time, through the modality of task accumulation, for a maximum period equivalent to the school year and in accordance with Decree 51/2015, of March 30.
The total cost of teaching staff, including Social Security paid by the entity, is estimated at approximately 3,000 euros per program, and remuneration will be determined at the appropriate time. The Tribunal may not approve or declare a number of candidates as having passed the selection process exceeding the number of announced positions.
Six municipalities and two languages as destinations
The granted programs will be taught in the municipalities that make up the mancomunidad, with the following distribution:
- English (P05): Aliseda, Casar de Cáceres, Monroy, Navas del Madroño, and Talaván.
- Portuguese (P05): Brozas.
The selected trainers must accept the pedagogical guidelines of the public teaching center that coordinates the educational zone of the area of operation.
Accredited qualification, job demand, and 35 euro fee
Requirements include being Spanish or a national of a European Union member state, being at least 16 years old and not exceeding the maximum compulsory retirement age, possessing functional capacity, and not having been dismissed via disciplinary proceedings nor being disqualified. Additionally:
- Be in a status of job seeker or seeking employment improvement at the time of hiring.
- Not maintain a legal or employment relationship with the Junta de Extremadura.
- For English, provide proof of a Teaching degree with a specialty in English, a degree in English Philology, or another means certifying level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference; for Portuguese, the corresponding foreign language specialty, a degree in Portuguese Philology, or another B2 level certificate from the Official Language School (EOI).
- If there are no applicants with these competencies in Portuguese, candidates with level B1 and, exceptionally, level A2 will be admitted.
Examination fees are set at 35 euros for subgroup A2 and are to be paid to Caja Rural de Extremadura, account ES65 3009 0105 4327 6867 6823, or to UnicajaBanco, account ES46 2103 7133 0800 3000 6916, indicating name, surnames, ID (DNI), and the requested position. The fee will only be refunded to those who are definitively excluded and upon request.
Pedagogical project and merit scale
The selection process consists of two phases: the presentation and defense of a work project, valued at up to four points in total with a minimum of two to pass to the next phase, and a merit competition. The scale in Annex II scores employment status (up to 1.00 point), teaching experience in adult education centers (up to 2.00), specific training (up to 2.00), and the pedagogical project (up to 4.00). The project shall have a maximum of ten single-sided pages, in Arial size 11. In the event of a tie, the greatest experience in adult education will be considered and, if the tie persists, a public draw will be held.
Applications are addressed to the Presidency and submitted to the General Registry of the association, at calle Oscura number 10 in Arroyo de la Luz, or via the electronic office tajosalor.sedelectronica.es, with one application for each position applied for. The count of ten calendar days sets the closing deadline on November 6, 2026.
Impact for the region’s teaching staff
The call, signed in Arroyo de la Luz on October 20, 2026, by the president, Carlos Caro Domínguez, is of direct interest to unemployed teachers or those seeking employment improvement in the region, who have a very tight margin—ten calendar days compared to the usual twenty in other calls—to gather their qualifications, employment history, merits, and pedagogical project. The rules exhaust the administrative route and may be challenged by appeal for reversal before the Presidency within one month.
