Por FactBox Admin

The Plenary of the Sigüenza City Council, in an ordinary session held on September 30, 2026, initially approved the Staffing Table (RPT) of the consistory, the instrument that organizes and classifies all municipal employment. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, number 192, corresponding to Thursday, October 8, 2026, and opens a fifteen-day public information period for the submission of allegations.
Fifteen days for allegations and exhibition at the electronic office
The approval is processed in accordance with the provisions of Article 169 of the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The file is submitted for public information for a period of fifteen days, which begins to count from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.
During this period, interested parties may submit any allegations they deem appropriate. The complete document, including the annexes detailing each position, is available to interested parties at the electronic office of the Sigüenza City Council (siguenza.sedelectronica.es).
The corporation specifies that the RPT will be considered definitively approved if, after the aforementioned period, no claims have been submitted. The announcement appears signed in Sigüenza on October 6, 2026, by the Mayor-President, María Jesús Merino Poyo.
Newly created positions
The annexes expressly identify the newly created positions incorporated into the staff, including that of tourism activities coordinator:
- Tourism Activities Coordinator, in the Tourism service, group C1/C2, destination supplement level 16 and 247 valuation points; it will be filled by competition and the original position will be amortized upon becoming vacant.
- Accounting and Budget Technician, in Audit-Treasury, group A1, level 24 and 501 points.
- Architect (TC), in Urbanism, Sustainability and Environment, group A1, level 24 and 744 points.
- General Administration Technician, in the same area, group A1, level 24 and 717 points.
- Industrial Technical Engineer, group A2, level 22 and 509 points.
Staff structure by government areas
The RPT is organized into five government areas, with a total of 68 positions listed in the annexes:
- General Administration, Legal and Economic Services: 9 positions in the Secretariat and 6 in Audit-Treasury.
- Personal Services: 27 positions, including Social Services, Cultural Services, Library, Sports Services, Tourism, Youth Services and Training Services.
- Urbanism, Sustainability, Environment and Maintenance: 23 positions, including the Municipal Brigade.
- Citizen Security and Mobility: 3 Local Police positions.
Interim Positions, Stabilization, and Pending Civil Service Conversion
The annexes also detail the administrative status of each position. The Secretariat, the Audit Office (Intervención), and the Treasury are listed as interim vacancies, as well as one part-time Architect position. Three net vacancies are declared in the Local Police, and one administrative position in the Secretariat and another in the Audit-Treasury are reserved for internal promotion.
Furthermore, several positions are identified as eligible for stabilization—including two administrative assistants, two Social Services technicians, one educator or social worker, one local informant, two brigade officers, and one cleaning operator—while others are marked for conversion to civil servant status (funcionarización), such as the archivist, the tax management and collection technician, the technical architect, and the Urban Planning administrative assistant.
The new RPT (Staffing Table) defines the complete map of municipal employment in Sigüenza and sets the conditions for access, provision, and remuneration for each position. For residents, the document determines which services the city council provides and with what human resources; for municipal employees and applicants, it specifies the positions that will be announced, those reserved for internal promotion, and those that must be regularized. The period for submitting allegations is the final opportunity for amendment before the staffing table is definitively approved.
