Por FactBox Admin

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has approved the 20th revision of the development plan and the 18th revision of the implementation plan for the Godeok Internationalization Plan District housing-site development project in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, raising the planned number of homes from 61,285 to 68,698 and the accommodated population from 147,221 to 154,836. The approval was published on 12 October 2026 in the Official Gazette (관보) No. 21337 as Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Notice No. 2026-534. The same notice publishes the topographic maps required under the Framework Act on Land Use Regulation.
The revision rests on Articles 21, 22 and 23 of the Special Act on Support for Pyeongtaek City and Others Following the Relocation of United States Forces Korea Bases and Articles 3, 7, 8 and 9 of the Housing Site Development Promotion Act. Four public developers remain in charge, with their representatives as listed in the notice:
- Gyeonggi Province — Chu Mi-ae

- Pyeongtaek Urban Development Corporation — Han Byeong-su

The change adds more than 7,400 homes and 7,600 residents to what is one of the largest housing-site districts in the southern capital region, and it redraws the land-use, road, school and parking figures that future residents, landowners and Pyeongtaek citizens will live with. Because the notice also fixes the parcels to be taken in the final phase, owners in Godeok-dong and Haichang-ri should check the attached lists and the display points before the 2027 completion date.
