Piñor corrects 2026 job offer: two technical positions

The Mayor’s Office of the Piñor Council corrected the 2026 public employment offer through Decree 2026-0245, dated September 2, which amends the errors of Decree 2026-0214, dated July 27, and adapts the designation of the positions to the determinations of the job position list. The correction is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on October 6, 2026, in section IV. Local Entities, with the reference R. 2.262. The announcement is addressed to general knowledge and opens the route for appeals for interested parties.

The text stems from an internal rectification: the Mayor’s Office detected that the list of positions approved in July did not align with the designation appearing in the council’s job position list, so the new decree modifies that list without altering the number of positions called. The public employment offer is the instrument through which local administrations specify the vacant positions to be filled during the fiscal year, and its publication in the provincial gazette is the requirement that activates the administrative deadlines.

Two open-access positions

The corrected offer maintains two open-access positions, both reserved for permanent labor personnel in the process of becoming civil servants:

• Architect: group A1, classification A, Special Administration, technical subscale, one position, through competitive examination or contest-examination in the open category.
• Environmental and General Administration Technician: group A2, classification B, Special Administration, management subscale, one position, through competitive examination or contest-examination in the open category.

Both positions share the same form of access and the same category, therefore the correction does not introduce changes to the selection procedure, but rather to the designation under which the positions will appear in the call’s rules.

Adaptation to the job position list

Decree 2026-0245 justifies the amendment based on the need to adjust the offer to the determinations of the RPT (Job Position List), the instrument that organizes the positions of each administration and fixes their remuneration, groups, and requirements. The modification of the list therefore affects the formal identification of the positions and not their legal nature or the number of vacancies.

The publication of this correction in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense replaces the details of the previous list and is the reference that applicants consulting the current 2026 offer must take into account.

Deadlines and routes for appeal

The announcement details the deadlines to challenge the decree:

• Optional appeal for reversal before the Mayor’s Office, within a period of one month starting from the day following publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, in relation to article 52.2.a) of Law 7/1985, of April 2.
• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Ourense, within a period of two months, according to article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.
• If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the express resolution is notified or one month has passed since the filing without notification, at which point it may be understood as dismissed by administrative silence.

The text adds that the above is understood without prejudice to any other appeal that the interested parties deem appropriate, and is signed by the mayor on the date of the electronic signature.

The correction is relevant for candidates following the 2026 job offer of the Piñor City Council, because it establishes the definitive designation of the two technical positions that will be called and marks the deadlines for claiming from its publication. Those preparing their application should use the now published table as a reference and not the one approved in July.
