The Galician Health Service (Sergas) has appointed as permanent statutory personnel the 121 people selected in the category of senior technician in clinical diagnostic laboratory and has assigned them their definitive destinations. The measure was formalized in the Resolution of September 18, 2026, of the General Directorate of Human Resources of Sergas, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 189, on Monday, October 5, 2026, in section IV, Oppositions and competitions, between pages 51488 and 51496 (reference CVE-DOG: s3k3m2n0-1cf1-cvb1-ptz0-d5i6yfcknmk0).
The process dates back to the Resolution of April 19, 2024, of the General Directorate of Human Resources (DOG no. 85, of April 30), which convened a competitive examination for entry into various categories of healthcare personnel with vocational training. Coverage of vacancies and appeal process
To ensure the coverage of the convened positions, the resolution provides for calling the immediately following applicant in the list of successful candidates when there are resignations, lack of requirements, absence of documentation, failure to choose a position in a timely and proper manner, failure to take possession, or leave without reservation of the position. In these cases, the choice of position made prior to the appointment is not modified.
Against the resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the General Directorate of Human Resources within one month, or direct challenge before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction. The document is signed by the Director General of Human Resources, María del Mar Pousa Cobas.
The appointment consolidates permanent public health employment in a key category for clinical diagnosis and reduces temporality in the seven health areas of Sergas, with an effective incorporation that must be completed within one month.
