Por FactBox Admin

The Town Council of O Corgo announces a selection process by open competition and merit assessment to temporarily fill a post of employment guidance technician, which will provide service to the grouping formed by the municipalities of Láncara, Triacastela and O Corgo. The rules, approved by Resolution of the Mayor’s Office of 6 August 2026, were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo No. 185, of 14 August 2026, under reference R. 2169, and appear signed by the Mayor Felipe Labrada Reija.
The post, which will be filled by appointment as an interim civil servant, is not structural in nature and is funded under the grant awarded by Resolution of 6 July 2026 of the Director General for Employment, pursuant to the Order of 11 March 2026, which establishes the regulatory bases and the call for grants for the recruitment of technical staff who carry out employment guidance activities in the 2026 financial year. The selected person will work full-time, 35 hours per week (1,533 hours per year), on a face-to-face basis from Monday to Friday, and their duties fall within the Common Portfolio of Services of the National Employment System (Royal Decree 7/2015).
Requirements and applications
To participate in the selection process, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a university qualification: a licentiate degree, architecture, engineering or bachelor’s degree, or alternatively technical engineering, diploma or technical architecture.
- Certify knowledge of the Galician language (level Celga 4 or equivalent), unless the specific test is passed.
- Achieve a minimum score of 3.5 points on the curriculum, according to Article 13 of the Order of 11 March 2026.
- Meet the nationality, age, functional capacity, eligibility and compatibility requirements set out in the rules.
Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically at the municipal electronic office, within a period of 10 calendar days counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOP. Together with the application, the DNI, the qualification, the list of merits, the Galician language certification and the assessable CV must be attached.
Selection process
The qualifying panel will assess up to a maximum of 15.5 points, distributed in two phases:
- Competitive examination phase (up to 10 points): a written theoretical-practical test on the duties of the post, the regulations and the economic and social reality of the field of action.
- Merit phase (up to 5.5 points): professional experience in the last ten years, with 0.40 points per month in directly related tasks (maximum 3.5 points) and 0.20 points per month in indirect tasks (maximum 2 points).
In the event of a tie in the final score, the highest score in the competitive examination phase will prevail and, if the tie persists, the longer certified period of unemployment.
Reserve list and taking up of the post
Applicants who score more than 5 points in the theoretical-practical test will form a reserve list, in order of preference, to cover substitutions for temporary incapacity, maternity, holidays or leave during the validity of the appointment. Before taking office, the town council will send the curriculum of the preselected person to the Directorate General for Employment Guidance and Promotion, which must verify that they achieve the minimum of 3.5 points essential for the exercise of employment guidance.
The call opens an opportunity for qualified public employment for people with university degrees from the area, in a service that will provide employment guidance and job placement for three municipalities in the south of Lugo. The successive acts of the process will be published on the notice board and on the electronic site of the City Council of O Corgo.
