Móra la Nova opens a competitive examination for an OAC management administrative assistant

The Móra la Nova City Council has approved, by agreement of the Local Governing Board on August 27, 2026, the regulatory bases for a selection process to fill one position for an OAC management administrative assistant, General Administration scale, Administrative sub-scale, group C1 (01.01.02.01), as interim civil servant personnel, and to establish a job bank through a competitive examination in the open access category. The call for applications is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 8, 2026, with official reference CVE 2026-08330 and file number 4309440003-2026-0003046.
Object and remuneration
The position is assigned to the Secretariat-Intervention area, in the City Council’s Citizen Service Office, and its mission is to perform administrative functions as support for a work team and operational supervision of the assigned resources. The process will be carried out guaranteeing the principles of equality, merit, and capacity set out in Article 55 of the Recast Text of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee.
Personnel appointed temporarily will be assigned the following remuneration, with a full-time working day:
- Base salary: €900.63
- Destination supplement (level 16): €437.73
- Specific supplement: €733.29
- Specific responsibility supplement: €124.71
- Total monthly gross: €2,196.36
Requirements and submission of applications
To take part in the call, applicants must meet the following requirements by the end of the application submission period:
- Hold Spanish nationality or that of a member state of the European Union (or cases of free movement of workers).
- Possess the functional capacity to perform the tasks and not exceed the compulsory retirement age.
- Not have been separated from the service of any public administration nor disqualified.
- Provide a C1 level certificate in Catalan or an equivalent qualification, in accordance with Decree 37/2024 and concordant regulations.
- Possess a Baccalaureate, FPII (Advanced Vocational Training) degree, or equivalent.
The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days starting from the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DOGC). Applications can be submitted via the City Council’s electronic office or at the General Registry of the entity, at Carrer Major, 88, and an examination fee of €10.00 (fiscal ordinance 06T) must be paid, with exemptions for people with a disability equal to or greater than 33% and job seekers.
Selection process and job bank
Selection will be carried out through a competitive examination process in the open category, consisting of an examination phase and a merit-based assessment phase. The Evaluation Commission will be composed of a president and two members appointed by the City Council, including a representative from the School of Public Administration of Catalonia, and will adhere to the principles of impartiality and parity.
Once the process is completed, a job bank will be established in order of score, with a validity of 2 years from its constitution. The job bank will serve to swiftly cover vacancies, substitutions, and other temporary contingencies within the professional group, and may be used by the City Council of Móra la Nova and other local entities.
