La Solana approves two new positions: rural guard and plumbing official

The City Council of La Solana has approved a specific modification of its Job Position List (RPT) to redefine two specific files: number 13, “Rural Environment Warden,” and number 85, “Plumbing Technician.” The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 205, dated October 23, 2026, within the CITY COUNCILS section, under announcement number 3432. The text is signed by the mayor, Luisa María Márquez Manzano, in La Solana on October 21, 2026.

The Job Position List is the instrument with which local entities organize their staff: it establishes the designation of each position, the classification group, the destination supplement level, the specific supplement, the workday, the schedule, the required qualification, and the functions. The approved agreement incorporates the final files contained in the record and replaces those previously in force, such that the content transcribed in the announcement becomes the applicable literal text in the City Council.

Both positions share classification in group C2, destination supplement level 18, and require an ESO (Secondary Education) qualification or equivalent, but they differ in legal nature, remuneration, and organic assignment.

Rural environment warden: Monday to Sunday and 35 hours

File number 13 corresponds to civil service personnel, with two assigned workers, and is framed within the Department of Agriculture, under the dependency of the Agriculture Technician. The modification establishes a full-time workday of 35 hours per week on a Monday to Sunday schedule and continuous shift, and adds two specific requirements for its performance:

• Valid Professional Identification Card for Rural Wardens, issued by the Civil Guard.
• Type B driver’s license.

The assigned specific supplement amounts to 5,619.37 euros. General functions include the surveillance of the rural road network of the municipal district and municipal rustic heritage, collaboration in road repair, security and protection tasks for rustic assets and facilities, prevention and assistance in extinguishing forest fires, collaboration with the security forces and bodies of the State, the autonomous community, and the provincial council, and participation in the local grazing commission.

Plumbing technician: between pools and heating

File number 85 is for contractual staff, with one worker, and is assigned to the Department of Pools/Climate-Plumbing. The modification lists the Head of the Heating and Air Conditioning Service and the Head of Pools as hierarchical superiors, maintaining the remaining determinations of the final file. The specific supplement is 5,059.08 euros.

The schedule is also from Monday to Sunday, 35 hours per week, depending on the shift roster of the rest of the staff and flexible in summer, with a Category B driver’s license among the requirements. The duties include maintaining the swimming pool service during absences due to permits or leaves, completing up to 35 hours per week in plumbing, and the setup, maintenance, and repair of heating facilities and cooling systems in public buildings and schools, as well as installation and maintenance work on pipes and faucets.

One month for the appeal for reversal

The announcement details the means of challenge: an optional appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición) may be filed before the same body that issued the act within one month from the day following the receipt of the notification, or directly as a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court within two months, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015 and articles 8 and 46 of Law 29/1998. If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal cannot be filed until the former is expressly resolved or dismissed by administrative silence.

The modification directly affects the municipal workforce and the schedule of the selection processes, because the specific requirements and the schedule now established condition both the filling of the positions and the organization of the agriculture, swimming pool, and maintenance services for schools and public buildings in the municipality.
