Por FactBox Admin

The Mancomunidad de Municipios Siberia has announced a vacancy for a Trainer for lifelong learning programs to be taught in the town of Siruela. The call was approved by a Presidential resolution on October 27, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz number 209, dated October 30, 2026, under announcement 4305/2026. The deadline for submitting applications is five business days starting from the day following publication, a reduced period justified by the rules themselves due to “the urgency in filling the position.”
The call is processed under the resolution of September 22, 2026, from the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Junta de Extremadura, published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura number 194, dated October 7, 2026, which resolves the granting of aid for the development of lifelong learning programs in the autonomous community under modality A. The development of the programs is also governed by the resolution of June 12, 2026 (DOE number 120, dated June 24, 2026), which establishes in its twenty-sixth article a duration of 150 teaching hours per program and requires groups of a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty-five students.
Two programs and eight weekly hours in Siruela
The announced position corresponds to modalities P03 and P06, detailed as follows:
- P03: Initial Secondary Education Program.
- P06: Preparation program for the test to directly obtain the Compulsory Secondary Education Graduate degree for those over 18 years old.
The contract is an employment contract, temporary in nature and for a specific project or service, with a part-time schedule of eight hours per week per program, totaling 150 hours for each. The place of work is Siruela and the remuneration will be adjusted “according to the grants awarded and the working day.” Hiring is conditional upon the effective start of the programs, and the employment relationship may be terminated earlier if students drop out, as the program ends without students.
Requirements: job seeker and teaching degree
Applicants must be in the status of a job seeker or seeking employment improvement at the time of hiring and hold a teaching degree or another university degree related to the subjects to be taught, along with the pedagogical adaptation course (CAP) or the University Master’s in Teacher Training. Spanish nationality, being at least sixteen years old and not exceeding the maximum compulsory retirement age, functional capacity, not having been dismissed through disciplinary proceedings, and possessing a negative certificate of sexual offenses are also required.
The application, according to Annex I of the terms and conditions, must be submitted to the general registry of the Mancomunidad Siberia from 9:00 to 14:00 hours or via the electronic office (mancomunidadsiberia.sedelectronica.es), with the possibility of using any of the registries provided for in Article 16 of Law 39/2015. If it is not submitted to the registry of the mancomunidad, a copy and proof of submission must be sent to administración@mancomunidadsiberia.com on the same day. The documentation includes ID (DNI), qualifications, courses, employment history, contracts or company certificates, employment demand card and SEXPE report, sexual offenses certificate, and pedagogical project.
Defense of a pedagogical project and merit scale
The process is a competitive examination (concurso-oposición) with two phases. The first consists of the presentation and defense of a pedagogical project, with 20 minutes of exposition and a subsequent dialogue of up to six minutes; it is worth a maximum of four points, two for structure and content and two for the public defense. The project cannot exceed 20 single-sided pages, in Arial 11, with two-centimeter margins and 1.5 line spacing; those that do not comply with these formats will not be evaluated.
The second phase evaluates merits according to Annex X of the resolution of June 12, 2026. The main sections are:
- Employment status: 1.00 point for being a first-time job seeker and 0.08 per full month as a job seeker.
- Experience in adult education centers: 0.10 per month, up to 2.00 points.
- Specific training in adult education: up to 2.00 points; general training, up to 1.00.
- Pedagogical project: up to 4.00 points; other merits, 1.00.
The call is single and in alphabetical order, and anyone who does not appear will be excluded. The Selection Committee will have between three and five members, and its nominal composition will be known with the final list of admitted candidates.
Reserve list and appeal process
Those who do not obtain the position will be placed on a job bank ordered by score, which is binding for the corporation until the end of the program, and will cover possible resignations or leaves. If there are no candidates, a new trainer will be sought through an offer to the Servicio Extremeño Público de Empleo. Against the terms and conditions, which exhaust the administrative route, a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month before the Presidency of the Mancomunidad de Municipios Siberia, or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Badajoz. The document is signed in Talarrubias by the mayor-president, José Manuel Romero Moreno.
The call for applications reaches a region, Siberia, with a scarce offer of skilled employment, and offers a temporary job opportunity but with a clear scoring system and a subsequent job bank. For local teachers interested in adult education, the margin is minimal: only five business days to gather qualifications, employment history, SEXPE certificates, and a complete pedagogical project.
