The transport is published as advertisement No. 54 in the Transports, Mortgages and Leases section of the First Supplement of the Official Gazette of Guyana No. 389/2026 of 10 October 2026, at page 4035. The notice is the statutory advertisement stage of the conveyance: the Deeds Registry entry is dated 9 October 2026 and signed by Z. Frank, Registrar of Deeds.
The property is described in the gazette as lot numbered 2, being a portion of Block ‘MH’ Plantation Anna Catherina, situate on the West Coast of Demerara, in the County of Demerara, Republic of Guyana, containing an area of 0.0857 of an acre, with no building or erections thereon.

Conditions attached to the transport
The conveyance is subject to the standard terms set out in the advertisement immediately above it in the same section, which the gazette reproduces in full:
- The lot shall be used for residential purposes only and shall not be sub-divided.
- Only one building shall be erected on the lot, and it must be completed within twelve (12) months of the passing of the transport.
- Building plans must be submitted to and approved by the Neighbourhood Democratic Council or other competent local authority and by the Central Housing and Planning Authority; fences, entrances and bridges require similar approvals.
- If no residential building is erected within twelve months, the transportee must reconvey the property to the Central Housing and Planning Authority, subject to reimbursement of a reasonable sum for developmental works.

- No non-resident of Guyana is entitled to be allotted a house lot, and a transportee who ceases to be resident — taken as residing outside Guyana for more than 183 days in a year — becomes liable to pay the current market value or have the lot repossessed.
- No person who owns any real property is entitled to purchase a lot, including property held by a spouse within the three years preceding the agreement.
- The transportee is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all drains, reserves and parapets adjoining the lot and must keep them unencumbered.
Publication and timing
The gazette of Saturday 10 October 2026 was printed and published by Guyana National Printers Limited, 1 Public Road, La Penitence, Greater Georgetown, and carries the transports, mortgages and leases for the counties of Demerara and Berbice, together with companies, lands and surveys and trade marks notices. The Demerara transports listed in the supplement, including this one, are stated to be intended to be passed any day after 24 October 2026.
For applicants on the state housing register, the notice confirms that allocation at Plantation Anna Catherina is proceeding through formal transport rather than a mere promise of allotment, and it sets out the residency, ownership and construction deadlines that govern the allottees. Any person with a competing claim to the lot has the advertisement as the public record of the intended conveyance.
