Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Sub-directorate of Labor of Teruel has ordered the registration and publication of the collective agreement for the hospitality sector of the province of Teruel for the years 2024 and 2025, which includes annual salary increases of 3%, a one-time payment of 500 euros, and a two-month period to pay arrears. The resolution, signed in Teruel on October 14, 2026, by the provincial sub-director, Alberto Mateo Mateo, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel no. 203, dated October 22, 2026, with the official reference 2026-3069.
The published text is the agreement reached in the meeting of the Negotiating Commission held on May 25, 2026, which approved and signed the agreement with code 44000145011981, subsequently corrected at the request of the Provincial Sub-directorate. The registration is based on article 90.2 and 3 of the Workers’ Statute, Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, and Decree 171/2010 of the Government of Aragon. An administrative appeal may be filed against the resolution before the Director General of Labor within one month.
3% Increases and One-time Payment of 500 Euros
Article 27 establishes a 3% increase for 2024 over the tables as of January 1 of that year, but only for the purpose of the calculation base for the 2025 tables, “therefore, no payment of arrears shall be due for this increase.” For 2025, another 3% over the 2024 tables is agreed upon. Additionally, Article 28 provides that if the CPI for December 2025 exceeds 3%, an additional maximum increase of 1% shall be applied effective January 1, 2026, without generating arrears for 2025.
Article 29 specifies the pending amounts:
- One-time agreement payment of 500 euros for 2024, proportional to the working day and actual working time, to be paid within the month following publication in the BOP.
- Compensatory and non-consolidatable nature, and only claimable if the staff received amounts lower than those provided for that fiscal year.
- Agreement differences from January 1, 2025, until publication, payable within a period of two months from its appearance in the gazette.
Salary Tables and Supplements
Annex I lists the monthly base salary by professional groups: in 2024, 1,103.75 euros (first group), 1,053.20 (second), 1,010.09 (third), 962.63 (fourth), and 855.10 for training contracts. In 2025, the amounts rise to 1,136.86, 1,084.80, 1,040.39, 991.51, and 880.76 euros, respectively. The text guarantees that all affected staff receive, on an annual basis and across all concepts, the amount set in the SMI (Minimum Interprofessional Wage) for each year.
The agreed supplements include:
- Transport allowance of 2.59 euros/day in 2024 and 2.67 in 2025.
- Extra services at 47.36 euros (2024) and 48.78 euros (2025), with four hours of contribution per service.
- Overtime at 11.91 and 12.27 euros/hour, after the usual ones were suppressed.
- Sunday and holiday bonus of 0.43 and 0.44 euros/hour; night shift premium of 30% of the daytime hourly wage.
- Meal allowance replaceable by 70.24 and 72.35 euros/month; per diems of 16.16/42.92 euros in 2024 and 16.64/44.21 in 2025.
- Three extraordinary bonuses: June 30, October 12, and December 20.
Working day, breaks, and social improvements
Article 14 establishes an annual working day of 1,796 hours and a maximum average of 40 hours per week, with a cap of 9 hours per day. The two weekly rest days, which can be accumulated over 14-day periods during the term, are maintained, returning to uninterrupted rest from January 1, 2026, and Saint Martha’s Day, July 29, is declared a holiday.
Regarding social matters, the agreement increases to 25,300 euros the compensation for death or disability resulting from a work accident or professional illness, effective two months after publication, and supplements up to 100% of the regulatory base for temporary disability due to professional contingency. It also regulates paid leave, breastfeeding leave accumulable over 14 working days, and leaves of absence.
Joint Commission and conflict resolution
The Joint Commission will have seven days to reach an agreement on the issues presented to it and will be composed of four members: two from the business side and one from each signing union, with its address at Plaza de la Catedral nº 9 in Teruel. The parties fully adhere to ASECLA, managed by the Aragonese Mediation and Arbitration Service.
The text is signed, for the business side, by Elena Marco Pérez, Sergio Calvo Bertolín, Francisco Ibáñez Ruiz, and Isabel Esteban Latasa; for CC.OO., José María Villarejo Martínez and David Martín Comín; and for UGT, Esteban Lauroba de Górriz and Patricia Rubio Urbano. The agreement does not apply to residences, clubs, or geriatric centers for the elderly, and the business representation commits to studying Teruel’s participation in a future regional hospitality agreement for Aragon.
The publication ends nearly two years of uncertainty for a key sector in the province, which now knows its exact tables and deadlines: companies must face the payment of 500 euros in the month following this October 22 and settle the 2025 differences within two months, while the workforce recovers firm salary references to claim what has accrued.
