Fuente-Tójar selecciona por concurso un técnico de Igualdad financiado por la Diputación

The Fuente-Tójar City Council has published the regulatory bases for the selection, via competition, of an Equality Specialist Technician under the category of interim civil servant by programs. The call appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on Thursday, October 29, 2026 (no. 210, pages 15639 to 15647, official reference BOP-A-2026-3625), signed by the acting mayor-president, Ildefonso Rosa García, dated in Fuente-Tójar on October 22, 2026.

A C1 position linked to the provincial subsidy

The position is classified in Group C1, Special Administration Scale, Auxiliary Subscale, and its coverage is conditional upon the 2026 call from the Provincial Council of Córdoba for subsidies to municipalities and autonomous local entities that develop projects and activities for equal opportunities between women and men and the elimination of discrimination based on sex or sexual orientation.

The bases place the position in LINE B) of that call and assign it the development of the Activities Project “Fuente-Tójar Committed to Equality”, which the text assigns to LINE A) of the same call, in addition to other tasks within the City Council’s Equality Area.

Four and a half months part-time

The maximum duration of the contract will be four and a half months, with a 50% part-time workday. The schedule is set from Monday to Friday, with possible exceptional service on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays only in cases of urgency and with sufficient justification.

The execution period derives from the final resolution of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, adopted in an ordinary session on April 14, 2026, and published on the Edicts Board of the provincial electronic headquarters on April 22, 2026.

Requirements: High School Diploma and 200 hours of training

Applicants must meet the general conditions for access to public employment and, additionally, two specific requirements:

  • Hold a minimum qualification of Bachillerato (High School Diploma) or equivalent.
  • Accredit training in equality policies, gender perspective, equal opportunities, gender-based violence, co-responsibility, and work-life balance, with a minimum of 200 hours, a requirement classified as indispensable.

Spanish nationality is also required—without prejudice to Article 57 of the revised text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees Act—as well as being at least 16 years old and not exceeding the maximum compulsory retirement age, functional capacity for the performance of the tasks, and not being separated by disciplinary proceedings nor disqualified from public employment or positions.

Ten business days to submit the application

The deadline for submitting applications is ten business days from the day following the publication of the call announcement in the BOP, shortened, according to the text, “due to service needs.” Applications, following the ANNEX I model, shall be addressed to the Mayor-President and may be submitted at the Registry and Citizen Service Office, at Castil de Campos, nº 4 in Fuente-Tójar, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 hours, or through the channels established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015.

Along with the application, a copy of the DNI, the academic degree, documentation accrediting merits, the responsible declaration from ANNEX II, and the list and self-assessment of merits from ANNEX III must be provided. Subsequent announcements will be published on the municipal electronic office and on its notice board.

Merit Competition and Fixed Scale

There will be no exam: the process is a competition with two blocks of merits. Professional merits are valued at 0.40 points per month worked or a fraction exceeding fifteen days on a full-time basis, with a proportional reduction for part-time work. Regarding training, the scale grants 4 points for a Bachelor’s Degree (Licenciatura or Grado), 3 for a Diploma (Diplomatura), 2 for a Higher Vocational Training Cycle or FP II, 1 for an Intermediate Level or FP I, and 1 for a Master’s or Doctorate, while non-regulated courses of at least 20 hours are scored using the formula of 0.005 points per hour. The required High School diploma (Bachillerato) for participation does not score.

The Selection Committee consists of a Presidency, a Secretariat —the Secretary-Interventor or the official to whom they delegate— and three members, and must conduct the evaluation within thirty calendar days from the end of the application period. The list of successful candidates will accept appeals for 3 business days. In the event of a tie, professional experience will be considered first, followed by training, and if the tie persists, by a draw before the committee itself.

Impact for the Municipality

The call covers a service that depends entirely on provincial funds with its own personnel and, due to its nature as interim staffing by programs and its part-time schedule, has a guaranteed short duration: up to four and a half months. For Fuente-Tójar, the reinforcement of the Equality Area is thus tied to the calendar and funding of the Provincial Council, meaning that the continuity of the project “Fuente-Tójar Comprometid@s por la Igualdad” will depend on future grant calls.
