El BOP publica el convenio colectivo de industrias vinícolas de Ciudad Real

The Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real publishes in issue 195, dated October 9, 2026, the Provincial Collective Agreement for the Wine Industry Activity of Ciudad Real for the years 2026-2027, including salary and overtime tables. The Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment of Ciudad Real orders its registration under code 13000225011982 and its publication, in a resolution signed on October 8, 2026, by the provincial delegate Miguel Ángel Díaz Brazales. The text, consisting of 62 pages, is disseminated as announcement number 3271.

The agreement was submitted electronically on September 3, 2026, through the Registry of Labor Agreements and Collective Bargaining Agreements (REGCON) by Manuela Pérez Astilleros, authorized by the Negotiating Commission, and resubmitted on October 6, 2026, after correcting defects detected in its drafting. It is approved under Article 90 of the Workers’ Statute (Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23) and Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, regarding the registration and deposit of agreements.

The text was negotiated, on one side, by the Business Federation of Ciudad Real (FECIR) and Agrifood Cooperatives of Castilla-La Mancha and, on the other, by the General Union of Workers (UGT) and Workers’ Commissions (CC.OO.). Its territorial scope covers the entire province of Ciudad Real and affects wine, alcohol, liquor, and cider companies, including cooperatives and dependent warehouses or agencies.

Validity and salary increases

The validity spans from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with economic effects retroactive to the first of those dates. Article 43 establishes the remuneration progression:

  • 2026: an increase of 3.5% on all economic concepts of the 2025 agreement.
  • Review: if the year-on-year CPI for December 2026 exceeds 3.5%, an additional increase of up to 1% will be applied with effect from January 1, 2027.
  • 2027: an increase of 3% on the final 2026 concepts, with effect from January 1, 2027.
  • Review: if the CPI for December 2027 exceeds 3%, an additional increase of up to 1% with effect from January 1, 2028.

The provisional tables in Annex I set the monthly base salary for the senior foreman at 1,604.18 euros in 2026 and 1,652.31 euros in 2027, and for the ordinary laborer at 39.31 and 40.49 euros per day, respectively. The agreement bonus increases from 46.20 to 47.59 euros per month, the full per diem from 58.43 to 60.48 euros, and the distance bonus from 0.48 to 0.50 euros per kilometer.

Working day, vacations and overtime

Chapter III of the agreement regulates the organization of working time under these conditions:

  • Maximum annual working day of 1,800 hours in 2026 and 1,792 hours in 2027, with a reduction of 2 hours on December 24 and 31.
  • Preferential distribution from Monday to Friday and an irregular working day of up to 5%, extendable up to 20% by agreement with workers’ representation; maximum ordinary daily working day of 12 hours.
  • Vacations of 30 calendar days, preferably between April and August, with a fund equivalent to 25% of the actual salary for each modified day.
  • Overtime prohibited on a habitual basis, subject to the worker’s free acceptance and with a surcharge of 75% over the normal hour.

Annex II, a new addition, establishes the overtime tables according to professional group and seniority: 24.07 euros per hour in 2026 and 24.90 euros in 2027 for groups 8-A, 8-D, 7-T, and 7-C without seniority, up to 38.10 and 39.43 euros with 60% seniority.

Control bodies and other matters

The agreement creates a Joint Interpretation Commission composed of eight members, four representing the company and four representing the workers, whose agreements require at least five votes and which is based in the Labor Arbitration Board of Ciudad Real. The parties also adhere to the III Autonomous Conflict Resolution Agreement (ASAC) of Castilla-La Mancha and provide for the non-application of the agreement in accordance with article 82.3 of the Workers’ Statute.

Regarding employment, the text recognizes preference in seasonal hiring for those who have worked at least 30 days per season in the same company and mandates calling permanent seasonal workers (fijos discontinuos) 15 days in advance, with confirmation within 48 hours. It also regulates paid leave, such as 17 days for marriage or civil partnership, and defines misconduct and sanctions, with suspension of employment and pay for up to six months or dismissal for very serious offenses.

The publication closes the negotiation for the provincial wine sector and covers the staff of wineries, distilleries, and cooperatives for two years. Companies and workers in the sector already have the final reference amounts and the revision clause that will protect their salaries if inflation exceeds the agreed thresholds.
