El Ayuntamiento expropia tres fincas de Guanarteme por 1,25 millones de euros

The Governing Board of the City of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, in an ordinary session on October 1, 2026, has agreed to initiate the compulsory expropriation of three properties located at number 82 El Salvador Street and its rear, in the Guanarteme neighborhood. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 124, dated October 16, 2026, with references 2107156 and 2108240, and authorizes a joint expenditure of 1,257,204.24 euros. The file is subject to public consultation for twenty business days.

The procedure is governed by article 18 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law and article 17 of its Regulations, with reference to article 83.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. The agreements bear the signature of the government councilor of the area, Mauricio Aurelio Roque González, appointed by Decree 26777/2023, of June 26.

The opening of the procedure allows those affected to examine the file and present allegations before the fair price is set, a preliminary step to the occupation of the assets.
