The bases warn that these positions could be replaced by the results of definitive provision processes that may eventually take place before the selection process is completed.

  • Second exercise: resolution of one or several cases, multiple-choice, short answer, or a combination of both, based on topics 26 to 40 of Annex II.

After each exercise, a period of 5 business days is opened for appeals. Those who pass the competitive examination will have 5 business days to submit the merits for the competition phase, valued according to the scale in Annex III. In the event of a tie, priority will be given, successively, to the higher score in the competitive examination, professional experience, and training.

Board, job bank, and taking office

The Qualifying Board shall be presided over by a public employee appointed by the Mayor’s Office, with the Secretary of the Corporation or an employee to whom they delegate, and shall include a public employee member from the Regional Government of Extremadura and three public employees designated by the Mayor’s Office. The Board will also draw up a waiting list or job bank consisting of those who, without passing the process, have passed at least the first exercise, ordered by the number of exercises passed and the score. The appointment proposal will be submitted to the mayor-president, who will make the appointment and notify the taking of office, with an oath or promise in accordance with Royal Decree 707/1979, of April 5. The call for applications strengthens the municipality’s administrative staff with six structural positions and opens a new pathway to local public employment for those with a High School diploma or Technical degree. Furthermore, the creation of a job bank will allow for the filling of temporary vacancies, substitutions, and fixed-term contracts at the Don Benito City Council.
