Dezanove empregados públicos ascenden a funcionarios de carreira do subgrupo A1

The Ministry of Finance and Public Administration has appointed as career civil servants in the superior body of the general Administration of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, subgroup A1, the candidates who passed the selection process through the internal promotion quota. The decision, signed on September 29, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) number 190, of October 6, 2026, and assigns definitive destinations to nineteen public employees who were already providing services in the autonomous Administration.

The resolution concludes the selection process convened by the Resolution of November 16, 2023 (DOG no. 222, of November 22), resolved through the competition-examination system for entry into the superior body of the general Administration, subgroup A1. Previously, the act of choosing the definitive destination provided for in the Resolution of September 11, 2026 (DOG no. 176, of September 16) was held. The appointment is based on Law 2/2015, of April 29, on public employment in Galicia, and other concordant regulations.

The annex lists nineteen people ordered by the final score obtained, indicating the chosen position, the position code, the designation, the destination center, the municipality, the subgroup, and the level. Thirteen of them join a specific position and six remain in a status of leave (excedencia) due to the provision of services in the public sector.

Taking office within fifteen calendar days

To acquire the status of career civil servants, the listed persons must meet the requirements demanded in article 60 of Law 2/2015, of April 29, and take possession of the job position within a period of fifteen (15) calendar days starting from the day following its publication in the DOG. This period applies by virtue of the Resolution of July 6, 2026 (DOG no. 128, of July 10), which declared urgency and reduced the deadlines in the selection processes of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration whose choice of destination was convened or resolved during the summer period.

In case of temporary incapacity, the period begins from the next business day following the end of the medical leave, which must be accredited. Situations derived from maternity or paternity are excepted, and in these cases, taking office may be carried out during the status itself.

Appeals and administrative effects

The resolution is signed by the Director General of Public Employment and Personnel Administration, Nuria Aguilar Vázquez, by delegation of the Minister (Order of January 8, 2020; DOG no. 16, of January 24).

The appointment consolidates the professional careers of nineteen public employees who accessed subgroup A1 through the internal route, without competing with external applicants, and guarantees the definitive filling of positions in bodies such as Augas de Galicia, the IGVS, or the Instituto de Estudos do Territorio. For the interested parties, the fifteen-calendar-day period to take office is the immediate procedure opened by the resolution.
