The Minister of Labor, Public Service and Social Dialogue has ordered the registration and deposit of the Collective Agreement for the metal sector of the Balearic Islands 2026-2029 and its publication in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands. The resolution, number 9368, appears in BOIB no. 117, of September 19, 2026, p. 50852, and provides official coverage for a text that sets the working day at 1,770 annual hours and a salary scale with annual increases until 2029. The agreement affects companies and workers in the industry, technology, and metal services of the archipelago.
The resolution was electronically signed on September 17, 2026, by María de la Luz Moreno Romero, Director General of Labor and Occupational Health, by delegation of the Minister (BOIB 99, of July 26, 2025). According to the background, the Negotiating Commission agreed and signed the text on August 14, 2026, and Juan Antonio Marimón Pizà requested its registration on August 17, 2026. The regulation is based on articles 90.2 and 90.3 of the Workers’ Statute (Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015), Royal Decree 713/2010, and article 45 of Law 39/2015, and the text is deposited in the Registry of Collective Agreements, Collective Labor Agreements and Equality Plans of the Balearic Islands. The resolution states that the Spanish version is the original signed by the members of the Negotiating Commission and that the Catalan version is a translation.

The agreement comes into force on January 1, 2026, and extends until December 31, 2029, with the exception of the amount for overtime hours, which applies from the date of publication in the BOIB.
