Por FactBox Admin

The Ceutí City Council has announced a merit-based competition to fill, through mobility, one position as an Officer of the Local Police Force reserved exclusively for career civil servants of the local police forces of the Region of Murcia. The position is listed in the Council’s 2026 Public Employment Offer, published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia number 221, dated September 24, 2026. The rules bear the signature of the mayor, Sonia Almela Martínez, and were dated in Ceutí on September 25, 2026.

The announced position corresponds to the following classification:
- Group C, subgroup C1.
- Special Administration scale, Special Services subscale.
- Local Police class, Officer category, in accordance with article 22 of Law 6/2019, of April 4.
- A single vacant position, endowed with the salaries of subgroup C1 and the supplements of the Municipal Budget.
The process is governed by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, by Law 7/1985 regulating the Bases of Local Regime, by Law 6/2019 on the Coordination of Local Police of the Region of Murcia, and by Regional Decree 82/1990, of October 16. The call will be published in full in the BORM and an extract in the Official State Gazette, while the remaining acts will be disseminated only on the municipal website www.ceuti.es.

The deadline is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract in the Official State Gazette, although the first section of the same rule sets 15 business days, an internal discrepancy in the official text.
Along with the application, the following must be provided: ID (DNI), a certification from the General Secretariat of the city council of origin, a curriculum vitae, accreditation of merits, and proof of payment of the 30.00 euro fee, which is paid by transfer to account ES76 0030 8635 86 0001053271 of Banco Santander in favor of the Ayuntamiento de Ceutí. There is a 50% reduction for members of large families (general category) and for job seekers with at least six months of seniority.
A 50-point competition with interview and medical examination
The scale distributes a maximum of 50 points:
- Work experience: up to 5 points, with 0.5 per year in higher-level positions.
- Training and professional development courses: up to 10 points.
- Academic qualification: up to 5 points, with a doctorate as the maximum.
- Seniority exceeding the required four years: up to 10 points, at 0.75 per year.
- Work-life balance (personal and family): up to 5 points.
- Curricular interview: up to 10 points, in four blocks of 2.5.
- Merits, awards, and police rewards: up to 5 points.
To pass the process, at least 15 points are required, followed by an eliminatory medical examination in accordance with the exclusion table of Annex I of Decree 82/1990. The Qualifying Board will be chaired by the head of the Local Police Force or a career official designated by the Mayor’s Office, with the Corporation Secretary as secretary-vocal and three members, one of whom shall be proposed by the General Directorate competent in the coordination of local police, with a binding character.
Cessation and taking office
The taking of office will be resolved within three business days if there is no change of residence and within one month if there is, counted from the day following the cessation. Cessation must be formalized within three business days following the publication of the resolution in the BORM, although the city council of origin may defer it for service needs for up to 20 business days, exceptionally extendable up to three months.
The call offers officers in the Region a transfer route to a municipality in the Murcia metropolitan area with only one vacancy available, which reduces the options to a single selected applicant and makes seniority and the interview the decisive factors of the scale.
