Por FactBox Admin

The Vice-Ministry of Public Administrations, Institutional Relations and Citizen Services of the Regional Government of Castilla y León has assigned destinations to the candidates who passed the selection process for 2nd Class Trade Official of the regional administration. The decision is formalized in the Resolution of October 22, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León no. 208, of October 27, 2026, section I.B.1, pages 36 to 47 (reference BOCYL-D-27102026-208-2). In total, the annex lists 23 assigned job positions, distributed across six provinces.
The final step of a stabilization process
The assignment culminates the process convened by the Resolution of May 7, 2025, from the same Vice-Ministry, for entry via the open access system in the professional category of 2nd Class Trade Official, within the framework of the public employment offer identified as SELL22A24_43400-OFICIAL 2ª DE OFICIOS_LIBRE 2022-2023-2024, published on May 16, 2025, and framed within the collective agreement for the labor personnel of the Administration of Castilla y León.
By Resolution of July 21, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León on August 3, the list of candidates who had passed the process was approved and published, in accordance with the proposal submitted by the Qualifying Board. Once the deadline for the submission of documents had passed, the Vice-Ministry now proceeds with the assignment according to the order number obtained, in accordance with the eleventh clause of the call and the delegation granted by Order PRE/1367/2022, of October 3. The document is signed by the Vice-Minister, José Miguel de Elías Hernández.
Destinations in six provinces
The annex lists the positions from number 1 to 25, with 23 effective assignments, and the vacancies are concentrated in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities (through the Social Services Management and the Youth Institute), the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport.
- Ávila (7 destinations): Ávila capital —IES Alonso de Madrigal, IES Isabel de Castilla, IES Vasco de la Zarza, CPM Tomás Luis de Victoria and Escuela de Arte y Superior de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales—, El Tiemblo (IES Claudio Sánchez Albornoz) and the Gerencia Territorial de Ávila.
- Burgos (4): Aranda de Duero (CEI Santa Teresa-Arco Iris), Burgos capital (Delegación Territorial de Economía y Hacienda, Gerencia Territorial de Burgos and Residencia Juvenil Gil de Siloé).
- Palencia (4): Palencia capital (IES Jorge Manrique), Guardo (IES de Guardo and CEI Apeninos) and Aguilar de Campoo (IES Santa María la Real).
- León (3): La Robla (IES Ramiro II), Astorga (IES Astorga) and Toreno (IES La Gándara).
- Valladolid (3): Residencia Juvenil Río Esgueva and two positions at the Gerencia Territorial de Valladolid.
- Salamanca (2): Gerencia Territorial de Salamanca and the Campamento Juvenil La Legoriza, in San Martín del Castañar.
Several of the positions in the Department of Education include the obligation to perform duties on an itinerant basis within a 40-kilometer radius from the assigned town.
Two withdrawals and incorporation deadlines
The resolution declares two applicants to have forfeited their right to the award of the position and the formalization of the contract:
- Minguela García, Jorge, for failing to submit the necessary documentation within the established timeframe.
- Paniagua Fernández, Alejandro, for already belonging to the professional category subject to the call for applications.
The successful candidates included in the annex must formalize their employment contract in writing before the general secretary of the department or the competent body of the destination autonomous organization within 10 business days from the day following publication. Effective incorporation into the positions will occur 20 business days after publication, a period that may be extended if the position is occupied by a worker with a fixed-term contract, until the end of the stipulated period and without the possibility of further extension.
Probationary period and appeal process
The contract establishes a probationary period of one month of actual work, during which admission is understood to be provisional; this will not be required if the person has already performed the same functions in the Administration for an equal or longer period. The resolution exhausts the administrative route and opens the possibility of filing a lawsuit before the Social Section of the Court of First Instance of Valladolid within two months, in accordance with Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating social jurisdiction.
The impact of this resolution is twofold: it consolidates 23 maintenance and trade workers as permanent staff and reinforces the staffing of educational centers, youth residences, and territorial social services managements in rural areas, where a large part of the assigned posts are concentrated.
