Social Welfare approves 30 public employment positions for the 2026 fiscal year

The Provincial Institute of Social Welfare of Córdoba has approved its public employment offer for the 2026 fiscal year, consisting of a total of 30 positions divided between open access, internal promotion, and the disability quota. The agreement was adopted by the organization’s Governing Council in an ordinary session on October 14, 2026, by unanimous vote of its members, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 202, dated October 19, 2026, in the section for other entities, under the official reference BOP-A-2026-3516.

The jurisdictional framework of the agreement

The Governing Council acted in exercise of the competence attributed by article 10 i) of the organization’s Statutes, and the agreement is recorded in the draft minutes of the session, which is still pending approval and subject to the terms resulting therefrom. The resolution orders the publication of the agreement in the provincial gazette and its submission to the State and Autonomous Community Administrations, in compliance with article 56.1 of Law 7/1985, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime.

The offer is structured into three shifts and responds to different causes provided for in the General State Budget Law: reduction of temporary employment, ordinary replacement rate, new service imposed by the Autonomous Community, and internal promotion.

Twenty-six open access positions

The main block, with 26 positions, is distributed as follows:

• 5 positions for psychologist (group A1), local assignment, positions 158, 159, 160, 161, and 175, due to reduction of temporary employment.
• 1 position for psychologist (A1), position 182, due to a new service imposed by the Autonomous Community.
• 1 position for psychologist (A1), position 185, due to the ordinary replacement rate.
• 13 positions for social worker (A2), positions 162 to 174, due to reduction of temporary employment.
• 1 position for social worker (A2), position 183, due to a new service imposed by the Autonomous Community.
• 1 position for social educator (A2), position 184, due to a new service imposed by the Autonomous Community.
• 4 positions for administrative assistant (C2), positions 176 to 179, due to reduction of temporary employment.

Internal promotion and disability reserve

The internal promotion shift includes 1 position for social program management technician (group A2), position 180, via internal promotion.

The disability shift totals 3 positions, all under the quota of article 109 of Law 5/2023 of the Public Service of Andalusia:

• 1 position for social worker (A2), position 124, reserved for general disability.
• 2 positions for administrative assistant (C2), positions 58 and 78, reserved for intellectual disability.

Deadlines for appeal

Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, an optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) may be filed before the same body within one month from the day following its publication, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015. Alternatively, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court, pursuant to article 8 of Law 29/1998. The document was signed in Córdoba on October 15, 2026, by the president of the organization, Irene Araceli Aguilera Galindo.

The call for applications consolidates structural employment in provincial social services and opens a specific access route for people with intellectual disabilities, a group with limited presence in local administration staff. For applicants, the publication marks the starting point of the calendar: the rules and deadlines for submitting applications must be specified in the calls for each selection process.
