Alcoroches opens the application period to hire a monitor for the Corresponsables Plan
Por FactBox Admin

The Alcoroches City Council has announced the process to hire a Monitor for the professional care of children and youth up to 16 years old and to establish a job bank with the applicants to cover future staffing needs. The guidelines are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 205, dated October 27, 2026, and the deadline for submitting applications is ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement. The document is signed by the mayor, Raúl Jiménez García, in Alcoroches on October 23, 2026.
The call for applications continues the Plan Corresponsables (Co-responsibility Plan) in the municipality, a program funded in previous editions and reactivated in accordance with Decree 1/2026, of February 5, which regulates the Plan Corresponsables of Castilla-La Mancha. The stated objective is to implement and maintain a space for attention, care, and educational reinforcement for the local child and youth student population, providing a local alternative, avoiding travel to other municipalities, and facilitating the reconciliation of family and work life.
Temporary Part-Time Contract
The hiring will be formalized as temporary labor personnel, through a contract based on production circumstances or interim status depending on the detected need, and on a part-time basis, with hours, shifts, and vacations adapted to the service. Each contract must include a clause stating that it will be funded through the Plan Corresponsables.
The admission requirements refer to Article 56 of the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee (Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30), and include:
- Spanish nationality, functional capacity, and working age.
- Qualification or certification required for the monitor position.
- Accreditation of a disability equal to or greater than 33%, where applicable, under equal conditions.
- Certificate of no criminal record for sexual offenses and a negative certificate for crimes against children prior to hiring.
- No negative report from municipal services regarding previous work at the City Council.
Ten Business Days and Electronic Submission
Applications, following the model in Annex I, shall be addressed to the Mayor-President and submitted via the municipal General Electronic Registry or through the channels specified in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. If the submission is not made through the municipal entry registry, a copy must also be sent within the deadline to aytoalcoroches@hotmail.es. In-person assistance is provided at the City Council on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00 hours, and the full guidelines are available on the electronic headquarters website http://alcoroches.sedelectronica.es.
After the deadline, the Mayor’s Office will approve the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates within a maximum of five business days, with another five days for corrections, followed by the final list. The Qualifying Board will be a collegiate and odd-numbered body, with a presidency and memberships appointed by the Mayor’s Office from career officials of nearby city councils, two memberships requested from the Molina de Aragón City Council, and the Corporation’s Secretary-Intervenor as secretary with voice and vote.
A 40-point competition
The selection system is a competition, with a maximum of 40 points divided into three sections: training up to 10 points, experience up to 20, and preferred profiles up to 10. In training, degrees such as Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Sociocultural and Tourism Animation, Social Integration, or Leisure and Free Time Monitor are scored, in addition to B1 and B2 levels of English.
In experience, one point is awarded per year in Public Administration and half a point per year in the private sector, with specific valuation for nurseries and school cafeterias. Preferred profiles add two points each and benefit, among others:
- People with accredited training in gender equality.
- Young people under 30 and women over 45.
- Long-term unemployed, with at least 12 uninterrupted months.
- People with experience in family or professional care, or mentions in linked degrees or master’s programs.
Ties are resolved by experience and, if applicable, by the status of victim of gender violence; the alphabetical tie-breaking order starts from the letter “Q”, according to the Resolution of November 26, 2025.
Pool, 24-hour calls, and one-month trial
The pool will be ordered by score and activated for future calls; an initial refusal does not exclude the candidate but moves them to the last position. Given the urgency of the service, the applicant will have 24 hours to accept or reject the offer, after at least three telephone contact attempts and notification by email. A one-month trial period is established.
The call exhausts the administrative route: a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month before the Mayor’s Office and a contentious-administrative appeal within two months before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Guadalajara. In this edition, the participation of people with disabilities up to and including 21 years of age may also be authorized, provided their specialized care needs are met.
The initiative directly affects families in a small municipality who need to balance work and life, as well as local people seeking employment: the position is temporary and part-time, but the pool opens a lasting labor access route to the care sector.
