Ceuta removes its Chief Superintendent of Local Police due to retirement

The president of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, has dismissed Sebastián Vega Murcia as Chief Superintendent of the Local Police upon reaching the ordinary retirement age on September 1, 2026. The leadership position remains vacant, and the process for its filling by free appointment has already been convened.

Ceuta cesa a su Superintendente Jefe de Policía Local por jubilación

El presidente de la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas Lara, ha cesado a Sebastián Vega Murcia como Superintendente Jefe de la Policía Local al cumplir la edad ordinaria de jubilación el 1 de septiembre de 2026. La jefatura queda vacante y ya se ha convocado su provisión por libre designación.
