Ceuta approves mental health crisis protocol for 112

The Counselor of Presidency and Governance of Ceuta, Alberto Ramón Gaitán Rodríguez, has approved the annex to the Technical Instruction 2026-008 of Civil Protection, which incorporates guidelines to identify and address mental health crises, including suicidal ideation, in 112 calls and interventions.

El Consejero de Presidencia y Gobernación de Ceuta, Alberto Ramón Gaitán Rodríguez, ha aprobado el anexo a la Instrucción Técnica 2026-008 de Protección Civil, que incorpora pautas para identificar y abordar crisis de salud mental, incluida la ideación suicida, en las llamadas e intervenciones del 112.
