Nace el Observatorio de los Conjuntos Históricos de Canarias
El Gobierno de Canarias crea, mediante orden publicada en el Boletín Oficial de Canarias, un órgano colegiado consultivo para proteger, rehabilitar y revitalizar los conjuntos históricos del archipiélago. La medida desarrolla los compromisos asumidos tras la Declaración de Betancuria.

The Observatory of the Historic Ensembles of the Canary Islands is born.
The Government of the Canary Islands creates, by means of an order published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, a collegiate advisory body to protect, rehabilitate and revitalize the historic sites of the archipelago. The measure develops the commitments assumed after the Betancuria Declaration.
