Secretaría de Economía inicia investigación antidumping contra placa de acero japonesa

La Secretaría de Economía aceptó la solicitud de parte interesada y declaró el inicio de una investigación antidumping sobre las importaciones de placa de acero en hoja originarias de Japón, a petición de Grupo Acerero y Ternium, que representan el 100% de la producción nacional. La resolución se publicó en el Diario Oficial de la Federación del 2 de septiembre de 2026.

Ministry of Economy initiates antidumping investigation against Japanese steel plate

The Ministry of Economy accepted the interested party’s request and declared the start of an antidumping investigation into imports of steel sheet originating from Japan, at the request of Grupo Acerero and Ternium, which represent 100% of national production. The resolution was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on September 2, 2026.
