The Government declares historical irrigation systems intangible cultural heritage
The Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Ministry of Culture, declares historical and traditional irrigation systems as a Representative Manifestation of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The measure, published in the BOE, safeguards the knowledge and techniques of traditional irrigation without altering the legal regime of water.

El Gobierno declara los regadíos históricos patrimonio cultural inmaterial
El Consejo de Ministros, a propuesta del Ministerio de Cultura, declara los sistemas históricos y tradicionales de regadío como Manifestación Representativa del Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial. La medida, publicada en el BOE, salvaguarda los saberes y técnicas del riego tradicional sin alterar el régimen jurídico del agua.
