Lake Villarrica Decontamination Plan: limits to fish farms and reforestation

The Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile published on August 13 the Supreme Decree No. 12 of the Ministry of the Environment, which approves the Decontamination Plan for Chlorophyll “a”, Transparency and Dissolved Phosphorus of the Lake Villarrica basin, with emission limits for fish farms, mandatory reports to the SMA and forest oversight in four communes of La Araucanía.

Plan de descontaminación del Lago Villarrica: límites a pisciculturas y reforestación

El Diario Oficial de la República de Chile publicó el 13 de agosto el decreto supremo N° 12 del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, que aprueba el Plan de Descontaminación por Clorofila “a”, Transparencia y Fósforo Disuelto de la cuenca del Lago Villarrica, con límites de emisión a las pisciculturas, reportes obligatorios a la SMA y fiscalización forestal en cuatro comunas de La Araucanía.
