Zamora approves final lists and tribunals for ten positions

The Zamora City Council has approved, via a Mayoral Decree signed on August 20, 2026, the final lists of admitted and excluded candidates and the qualifying tribunals for the permanent appointment of ten positions within its public employment offer. The resolution, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Zamora number 97, dated August 21, 2026 (pages 5 to 12), also sets the dates for the first exercise of the competitive examination phase, which will take place between September 2026 and January 2027.

The agreement affects all applicants from the calls corresponding to the public employment offers of 2023, 2024, and 2025, and includes both civil servant positions in the special and general administration scales as well as labor personnel positions. The complete lists will be published on the notice board of the municipal electronic headquarters and in the personnel selection calls section of the website www.zamora.es.

The ten announced positions

The resolution covers a total of ten positions, distributed between technical and labor personnel posts:

One position for architect (subgroup A1, level 24), open competitive examination/merit-based, 2025 offer.
Three positions for general administration technician (two open access and one for disability), subgroup A1, level 24, 2024 and 2025 offers.
One position for technical engineer (subgroup A2, level 22), 2025 offer.
One position for equality agent (subgroup A2, level 22), 2025 offer.
One position for theater managing director (group 1 of the collective agreement), 2023 offer.
One position for production manager (group 2), 2024 offer.
One position for library assistant (group 3), 2025 offer.
One position for cemetery laborer (group 5), 2024 offer.

Exclusions and causes

The resolution lists the excluded applicants in each process. There are no exclusions for the positions of architect, technical engineer, equality agent, theater managing director, or production manager. However:

General administration technician: three excluded (one in open access and two in the disability quota).
Library assistant: ten excluded.
Cemetery laborer: one excluded.

The causes for exclusion, detailed in the annex, include failure to provide the report of unemployment registration periods with at least 90 days of seniority, incorrect or unproven payment of the examination fee, failure to submit the responsible declaration of requirements, or failure to prove a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent.

The first exercise of the competitive examination phase (multiple-choice questionnaire) will be held on the following dates and locations:

Architect: January 19, 2027, 11:30 a.m., Assembly Hall of the Ciudad Deportiva.
General Administration Technician: November 11, 2026, 12:00 p.m., Green Pavilion of the Ciudad Deportiva.
Technical Engineer: December 16, 2026, 12:00 p.m., Assembly Hall of the Ciudad Deportiva.
Equality Agent: December 16, 2026, 09:00 a.m., Assembly Hall of the Ciudad Deportiva.
Theater General Manager: September 22, 2026, 11:30 a.m., San Atilano Seminary.
Production Manager: November 24, 2026, 11:30 a.m., San Atilano Seminary.
Library Assistant: November 11, 2026, 09:00 a.m., Green Pavilion of the Ciudad Deportiva.
Cemetery Worker: January 19, 2027, 09:00 a.m., Assembly Hall of the Ciudad Deportiva.

Appeals and Deadlines

This resolution exhausts the administrative route, in accordance with Article 114 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Interested parties may optionally file a request for reversal before the same body within one month of publication, or challenge it directly before the contentious-administrative jurisdictional order within two months, before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Zamora.

With the publication of these final lists and the qualifying boards, the selection process enters its decisive phase: admitted candidates now know both the body that will evaluate them and the date and location of their first exam, a key step for filling essential positions in the municipal administration of Zamora.
