Valverde del Fresno approves its 2026 public employment offer

The City Council of Valverde del Fresno has approved its Public Employment Offer (OPE) for the year 2026, which includes positions for administrative officer, administrative assistant, and sports instructor. The decision was adopted by Mayoral Resolution of August 13, 2026, and was made public in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres on Friday, August 21, 2026 (number 0160, pages 19584-19585), with official reference BOP-2026-3987.

The call is published in compliance with Article 91 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and Article 70 of the revised text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30. The announcement was signed in Valverde del Fresno on August 18, 2026, by the mayor-president, José Núñez Vázquez.

Vacancies announced

The offer is structured into two blocks, civil service personnel and contractual personnel, with the following positions:

  • Administrative Officer (group C, subgroup C1), via the internal promotion system.
  • Administrative Assistant (group C, subgroup C2), via open competition.
  • Sports Instructor (group C, subgroup C2), via open competition.

Regulatory framework and access

The positions of administrative assistant and sports instructor are offered via open competition, which opens the call to any applicant who meets the general requirements for access to the public service. The administrative officer position is reserved for the internal promotion system, aimed at personnel already serving in the municipal administration.

The publication in the official gazette publicizes the agreement and opens the period for the submission of applications, in accordance with the rules to be developed in the corresponding calls.
