Valnalón approves an indefinite contract for Project Guidance Technician

The public company Ciudad Industrial del Valle del Nalón, S. A. U. (Valnalón) has approved the signing of an indefinite contract to fill the position of Entrepreneurial Project Guidance Technician, within the framework of the 2025 replacement rate. The resolution, signed by the Managing Director Marta F. Pérez Pérez, is published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 164, dated August 25, 2026, with code 2026-06890.

The agreement, adopted following the completion of the selection process, is framed within section VI of Other Announcements of the gazette and responds to the instructions regulating the selection procedures of the public companies of the Principality of Asturias.

A seven-month selection process

The file, identified as Expte. V03/2026, began on January 22, 2026, with the favorable report from the General Directorate of Public Employment for indefinite hiring as part of the 2025 replacement rate. The specific guidelines were published on May 25, 2026, on the Valnalón website, in the BOPA, and on its social networks.

The process took place in several phases throughout the summer:

• 06/30/2026: provisional list of eligible and ineligible candidates.
• 07/06/2026: definitive list of eligible candidates.
• 07/07/2026: provisional list of merit scoring.
• 07/16/2026: definitive list of merit scoring and technical test.
• 07/27/2026: provisional list of technical test scoring.
• 07/31/2026: definitive list of technical test scoring.
• 08/04-06/2026: structured interviews.
• 08/13/2026: publication of final grades and hiring proposal.

The hired person and the employment pool

The selection board proposed the hiring of the candidate with the highest score, whose data appears with the initials DGA and ID ***2382**. The resolution also approves the formation of a temporary employment pool with the candidate who passed the entire process without being hired, identified with the initials JGP and ID ***2120**.

With this pool, temporary vacancies of the same profile approved by management, subject to prior authorization from the General Directorate of Public Employment, may be filled during the three years following the date of the final resolution of the process.

Regulatory framework and guarantees

The procedure has been adjusted to the conditions and observations of the competent bodies of the Principality of Asturias, as well as to the Instructions regulating the selection processes of public companies and entities of the Principality governed by private law, approved by the Government Council on April 27, 2016. The Instructions for the issuance of reports on personnel matters provided for in the Principality of Asturias Law 5/2025, of December 31, on the General Budgets for 2026, approved by Agreement of the Government Council on February 9, 2026, have also been applied.

The resolution, signed in Langreo on August 13, 2026, is published on the Valnalón website, in its transparency portal, and in the BOPA.

The incorporation of an orientation technician on an indefinite contract reinforces the staff of Valnalón, a public entity based in Langreo dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in the Nalón Valley. The consolidation of this position, together with the created employment pool, guarantees the continuity of support services for entrepreneurial projects and represents a step toward the stabilization of public employment in the region.
