Valls opens grants for neighborhood associations and districts

The Valls City Council has opened the 2026 call for grants destined for the Neighborhood Associations of Valls and its Districts, with a maximum total amount of 27,000 euros to finance activities carried out during the year 2025. The call was approved by agreement of the Local Government Board on August 7, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona (BOPT) on August 27, 2026, with the official reference CVE 2026-07992 (pp. 1-3).

Beneficiaries and objective
Non-profit Neighborhood Associations of Valls and its Districts may apply for these grants. The objective of the call is to grant financial aid for the activities that these entities carried out during the year 2025.
- Maximum total amount: 27,000 euros, charged to budget item 40104-92500-48901 of the municipal budget.
- Application deadline: 20 calendar days starting from the day after the publication of the call in the BOPT.
- Submission: electronic, through the electronic office (seu.valls.cat), using the form available on the municipal website (www.valls.cat).
Required documentation
Applications must be submitted within the deadline, as submission after the deadline will result in the exclusion of the applicant. The following documentation must be attached to the application:
- Application form and a photocopy of the association’s CIF (Tax ID).
- Certificate proving that tax obligations and Social Security payments are up to date.
- Proof of ownership of the bank account where the grant payment is to be made.
- Responsible declarations regarding the fulfillment of requirements, the absence of other concurrent grants, and authorization for the city council to verify tax debts.
- Report of activities for 2025, including supporting documentation, costs, and account statements.
- Justifying invoices for the subsidized amount and proof of payment (receipt, bank transfer, payroll slip, etc.).
All documentation must be digitally signed by the legal representative of the association; handwritten documents or photographs will not be accepted. If the documentation is incorrect or incomplete, a period of ten business days will be given to correct it, with the warning that otherwise, the application will be considered withdrawn.
Impact for neighborhood entities
This call for applications represents direct financial support for the neighborhood associative fabric of Valls and its districts, which will be able to finance community activities carried out last year. Interested entities have approximately three weeks to formalize their applications electronically, a procedure that the city council has fully digitized to streamline processing.
