The General Directorate of Public Finances (DGFiP) is launching a call for applications to fill the position of Director of the Tax Management Hub for the Regional Directorate of Public Finances of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and the Côte-d’Or department, located at 5, rue de Soissons, in Dijon. The position will be vacant as of January 1, 2027. The notice is published in the Official Journal of the French Republic No. 0212 of September 11, 2026, under reference NOR CPPE2624021V, issued by the Ministry of Action and Public Accounts.

A management position at the heart of the tax administration

The DGFiP is a network-based directorate deployed across the entire territory, comprising approximately 94,600 agents (91,400 full-time equivalents). As a sovereign administration, it ensures tax management, executes State revenues and expenditures, fights tax fraud, and maintains public accounting. The Regional Directorate of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Côte-d’Or has a workforce of 624 FTEs, of whom 45% perform tax missions.

The tax management hub, which the future appointee will lead, consists of two divisions:

  • the division for tax network animation, collection, and control (16 agents), responsible for tax assessment and collection, land and property missions, business support, and individual over-indebtedness;
  • the division for legal affairs, assessment litigation, and the tax jurisdictional hub (12 agents), responsible for litigation, referrals to the tax ombudsman, tax rulings, and tax support for SMEs.

As a member of the DRFIP management team, the hub director participates in the steering committee alongside the regional director, the three other hub directors, the regional budget controller, and the chief of staff. They also perform representation duties for the director with the prefecture and local elected officials.

Employment conditions and remuneration

The position is to be filled under the conditions provided for by articles R. 342-1 to R. 342-8 of the General Code of the Public Service and the amended decree of June 3, 2020, setting the recruitment procedures for management positions within the DGFiP. Candidates must justify at least 6 years of diversified professional activity and belong to a Category A corps or have held a position whose final gross index is at least equal to “hors échelle B” or higher than gross index 1217.

The appointee will be named for a term of three years, renewable up to a total duration of six years, with a probationary period of six months. The position falls under group VII and level 4 of the DGFiP management position scale. The total annual gross remuneration includes:

  • a salary scale component;
  • a fixed indemnity component between 34,000 and 55,000 euros gross per year;
  • a variable component (annual indemnity supplement) regulatory capped at 27,000 euros, based on results achieved.

Procedure and Application File

The recruitment procedure follows the modalities of articles R. 342-9 to R. 342-17 of the General Code of the Public Service and articles 2 to 8 of the amended decree of June 3, 2020. The recruiting authority is the Director General of Public Finances. The application file must be submitted within 30 days from the publication of the notice in the Official Journal, exclusively to the address recrutements-emplois-direction@dgfip.finances.gouv.fr.

The file must imperatively include a cover letter and a detailed curriculum vitae. For public officials not belonging to the DGFiP, it is supplemented by a record of service, the latest administrative status decree, and the salary scale of the original corps; for private sector candidates, by the most recent employment contract.
