Por FactBox Admin

The City Council of Torredonjimeno (Jaén) has published in the Official Provincial Gazette the rectification of the announcement initially approving the modification of the Staffing Table (RPT) corresponding to the positions of Agent, Officer, and Chief of Local Police, with economic effects from July 1, 2026. The correction, signed by Mayor Enrique José Castro Tárraga, is published in issue number 175 of the gazette, dated September 9, 2026, under reference 2026/4029.
The rectification corrects an error noted in announcement 3847, published in issue number 162 of the gazette, dated August 21, 2026, and reproduces the correct text of the initial approval adopted by the Plenary of the Municipal Corporation in the session held on July 30, 2026.
Initial approval and public exhibition
The Plenary initially approved the modification of the RPT regarding the positions of Agent, Officer, and Chief of Local Police, modifying the valuation of the remunerative factors for each position. The file is available for public inspection at the Secretariat Office and on the City Council’s electronic headquarters (tosiria.sedelectronica.es) for a period of twenty business days, during which it may be examined and any claims deemed appropriate may be submitted.
Modified valuation factors
The modification alters the scoring of the following valuation factors:
- Factor 2: Agent 2.86; Officer and Chief of Police no variation.
- Factor 5B: Agent 3.86; Officer 3.21.
- Factor 6: Agent 1.69; Officer 6.75.
- Factor 7B: Chief of Police 5.
- Factor 9: Agent, Officer, and Chief of Police, 5.
- Factor 11A and 11B: Agent, Officer, and Chief of Police, 2.67.
- Factor 12: Agent, Officer, and Chief of Police, 7.
Effects and processing
The modification will take effect from July 1, 2026, and payments will begin in January 2027. The agreement also provides for the full publication of the list in the Official Provincial Gazette and on the municipal electronic headquarters, as well as the sending of a copy to the State Administration and the competent body of the Autonomous Community.
The revaluation of the Local Police positions represents a remunerative improvement for the agents of the Jaén municipality, who will see the valuation of their job positions updated following the administrative processing. The published rectification ensures the legal certainty of the procedure by correcting the error of the previous announcement and clearly establishing the deadlines for allegations and the date of economic effects.
