Por FactBox Admin

The State Property Administration Agency (AABE) has called for an electronic public auction for the sale of a vehicle parking space seized in a criminal case for money laundering, located at 658/62/66 Lavalle Street, between Maipú and Florida, 2nd floor, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The call was authorized by Provision 137/2026 of the General Directorate of Administration of the AABE, published in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic on September 9, 2026.
The property, owned by the National State, has a surface area of 13.10 m² and is identified catastrally as District 14, Section 1, Block 21, Parcel 7, UF 172, linked to CIE No. 0200072162/1. The procedure, identified as Public Auction No. 392-0094-SPU26, is processed under file EX-2026-82302236-APN-DCCYS#AABE.
Judicial origin of the asset
The parking space comes from a seizure ordered by the Economic Criminal Oral Court No. 1, which in the case titled “GUASTINI, Diego Xavier re/ violation of art. 303 C.P.” (case No. 958/2014) resolved, by judgment on April 11, 2023, to seize the assets as they were the product or profit of the crimes for which Diego Xavier Guastini and Ernesto Raúl Quirco were convicted, and placed them at the disposal of the AABE.
Decree No. 598/19 instructed the Agency to immediately alienate seized assets that enter the public sector’s assets. Subsequently, Decree No. 575/25 (August 12, 2025) approved a new regime for assets originating from illicit activity, although its application was provisionally suspended by the Federal Administrative Litigation Court No. 9 (File No. 36655/25), therefore the process is governed by the previously existing regime.
Appraisal and base price
The National Appraisal Tribunal, in its meeting on March 4, 2026, set the market value of the asset, for cash and vacant, at $10,900,000 (equivalent to USD 7,595.81), and a base sale value of $9,800,000 (USD 6,829.26), at an exchange rate of $/USD 1,435. The base auction price was established at USD 7,595.81.

Calendar and modality
The auction will be held in electronic format through the SUBAST.AR system (https://comprar.gob.ar/), with no cost for the bidding documents. Interested parties may submit inquiries until September 28, 2026, at 17:00, the registration deadline will be October 5, 2026, at 12:00, and the auction act will take place on October 14, 2026, at 14:00.
The proceeds from the sale, minus administration and disposal expenses, will be placed at the disposal of the Economic Criminal Oral Court No. 1, or whomever it subsequently decides. The provision was signed by the General Director of Administration of the AABE, Ignacio Esteban Klubus.
The auction offers investors the opportunity to acquire real estate in the heart of downtown Buenos Aires at a base value significantly lower than its appraisal, within the framework of the state policy to dispose of assets recovered from crime and return their proceeds to the criminal justice system.
