Por FactBox Admin

The Delegation of Economy and Finance of Palencia has called for a public ascending auction of rural real estate, which will be held on November 24 at 10:00 AM in the Assembly Hall of the delegation, located at Plazuela de la Sal, 1, third floor. The announcement is published in the Official State Gazette (Boletín Oficial del Estado) number 219, dated September 4, 2026, section V-B, with the official reference BOE-B-2026-28536.
The call, signed on September 1, 2026, by the delegate Inmaculada Santana Alvaro, is part of the procedure for the disposal of State assets. The General Directorate of State Heritage agreed to initiate the proceedings on June 30, 2026, and the specifications of clauses were favorably reported by the State Legal Service in Palencia on July 30 and approved by the delegate on August 20.
The lots and their origin
19 lots of rural properties are being offered, mostly irrigated and dryland, distributed across the municipal districts of Nogales de Pisuerga, Antigüedad, Astudillo, Autillo de Campos, Poza de la Vega, and Frechilla. Each lot is registered in the corresponding Property Registry and in the Inventory of State Assets, and is sold as a “cuerpo cierto” (as is) in accordance with article 1471 of the Civil Code, regardless of its condition and possible discrepancies in surface area.
The bidding prices vary widely depending on the property:
- €62.20 (lot 1, irrigated land in Nogales de Pisuerga)
- €1,693.44 (lot 2, irrigated land in Nogales de Pisuerga)
- €24,591.56 (lot 9, wasteland in Astudillo)
- €17,370.25 (lot 10, wasteland in Astudillo)
- €12,941.50 (lot 19, dryland in Frechilla)
Guarantees and conditions
Each lot requires a guarantee of 5% of the bidding price, which must be paid and credited in the manner provided for in the specifications until 2:00 PM on the last business day prior to the auction. Urban planning conditions are derived from municipal planning and must be verified by interested parties at the corresponding town hall.
The specifications can be consulted at the State Heritage Section of the delegation (telephone 979 706 639) and through the website of the Ministry of Finance (www.hacienda.gob.es). The properties are sold as a “cuerpo cierto,” and it is the buyer’s responsibility to request concordance and assume the current state of the property.
Opportunity for the agricultural sector
The auction represents a way for investors and farmers to access irrigated and dryland plots in the province of Palencia, with starting prices that in several lots are below 2,000 euros. Participation requires presenting the guarantee on time and adhering to the conditions of the specifications, which govern the entire procedure.
